Here’s chapter two for you all, thanks for reading chapter 1 and for voting, I love you all! I am making up the team members in the diving and swimming team okay? And I will be adding Point of Views for Tom.

**Ellie**

“Tom, on that bus now!” I heard my father shout outside as I sat myself next to Eliza. Today we were going to check out the Olympic Village and even if I didn’t know if I was on the Team GB swimming team, I still wanted to check it out. I sighed as I watched the diving team and swimming team hop onto the bus. Because most of the divers trained at Plymouth, the Olympic association said it was better if the two teams came together to visit the Village.

“Fine,” I heard Tom mutter and he walked past me and Eliza and sat himself behind us. Eliza was the best swimmer I had ever known, she was always in the national championships and always won them. She was only eighteen, like me but swimming since she was three years old paid off.

“What’s up with him?” Eliza whispered to me as I turned around. It was obviously she was talking about Tom.

“He’s in a strop, has been since a few days ago,” I didn’t know why he was acting like this but he seriously needed to get a grip whatever it was. I put my headphones in my ears and started to listen to the Scissor Sisters, my favourite band.

“Get up!” I heard someone shout as I jumped immediately. Get up? For what? I was listening to a song a second ago, we couldn’t have gotten there already? I took my headphones out and realised Eliza had gotten off the bus and so had everyone expect him.

“What do you want Tom?” I asked coldly. He smirked and held out his hand for me. I held onto it as we walked down the steps and onto the pavement.

“Ooh,” a couple of people teased as Tom let go of my hand. I blushed and walked over to Eliza who thankfully did not see what was going on. I made my way to the Aquatic Centre where a couple of American swimmers were practising their routine.

I wanted to practise in it but a sign read that ‘only participants in the 2012 Summer Olympics may train in any facility provided by the Olympic Association’ and my heart stopped, causing me to not look where I was going. I stumbled and felt someone push me in the swimming pool. I shrieked and felt anger burn inside me as I walked out of the pool, apologising to the other swimmers as he laughed at me.

“Tom! Why did you do that?” I yelled at him as he carried on laughing. What was his problem? He was nice before and suddenly he just had to push me in the pool. I stormed off as Eliza waved at me from the diving area. I walked over to her as I watched Tom not even five metres away from me.

“What’s wrong?” She asked as I frowned, crossing my arms over. I sighed and pulled her over to one of the empty seats near the diving board.

“Tom pushed me into the swimming pool!” I yelled and as I said that, Tom looked at me sternly. Eliza began to laugh.

“I’m sorry,” she cried, realising that it wasn’t funny for me. I smiled and hugged her as Tom came over, smirking.

“Go away!” I ordered him, pointing to some other direction. He sat down beside me and smiled.

“I didn’t mean for you to be like this, I’m sorry,” he apologised. I smiled, taking into account that he wasn’t the sort of person to make you get angry at him.

“It’s okay,” I smiled and I got up. “What are you doing now?”

“I was going to practice but the manager of the swimming team wants to see me for something,” and he walked off, winking at me.

**Tom**

I smiled at Ellie before walking off to see Marlena, the manager of the swimming team. I had no idea why she called because I’m a diver but it was probably urgent.

“Hey Tom,” she greeted me and patted the seat next to me. I sat down, waiting for the news she was about tell me.

“What’s up?” I asked her casually.

“I need your help,” she began and continued talking.

“We have one spot left for the swimming team and the girl you were with earlier, Ellie is one of the contenders for that spot. So is Amelle and she is a better swimmer than Ellie but Ellie has more of a reputation and I want you to decide who should get it,” I took everything in but it confused me. Why me? I was no expert on swimming and yes maybe I could swim but I wasn’t a swimmer.

“Why me?” I asked stupidly. She looked at me and smiled.

“Because you are an amazing diver and you have that je ne sais quoi.” She grinned. I nodded slowly and she shook my hand.

“Come back tomorrow to see me and we’ll talk more,”

And with I walked off, knowing that Ellie’s career was in my hands.

“So we did that until we were six and then we stopped dancing to be swimmers,” I heard Eliza say as I entered the dining room. I smiled at everyone before they continued talking. I sat myself next to Ellie and Eliza who were too busy engaged into their own conversation.

“Hey,” Ellie smiled and turned back to Eliza.  I smiled too, checking my Twitter mentions.

@TomDaley1994, marry me!

@TomDaley1994, are you single?

@TomDaley1994 You’re my inspiration Tom!

I smiled at the mentions and started replying.

“You okay?” Ellie asked as she saw me smirking? I had to stop doing that whenever someone made me smile without being there.

“Ur... yeah,” I trailed, not noticing Ellie’s father who came into the room.

“Tom, diving board now!” He called before giving Ellie a hug. Typical. Did that man like me? Probably not but he was the coach so I had to obey him at all times. I switched off my phone and walked out of the room.

“Geez Tom, be a little nicer?” Coach Gould called walking into the diving area. I was nice, what more could I be? So nice that you’d get sick of me? No.

**Ellie**

“Imagine if you were on the team?” Eliza asked as we walked around the rest of the park. I didn’t want to imagine, I wanted to be on the team.

If I wanted to do this, I had to fight.
