He ordered a coffee as he was unable to pronounce cuppaccino. After the waiter went away he picked up a newspaper and started scribbling something on it. The cafe was a small one enough for 10 people to sit. It had no windows and the walls had large square shaped holes where decorative candles were lit up. The rain was pouring down heavily on the roof above him. He could hear it. He kept the newspaper aside and called for the waiter. 'Some snacks would do good in this weather' he thought. But instead of the waiter she entered into the cafe....

She struggled with her umbrella and searched for a vacant seat. She found one vacant in front of him. She placed her umbrella along the wall and her purse on the table and sat down facing him. He kept staring at the girl. "Ah! YARDLEY ROSE FRAGNANCE 40 CENTS" he smelled the perfume and thought to himself. She removed her hair band and swayed her hair to dry them up. Water droplets came flying over his face , he smiled and placed his fingers over his face. "Oh no! I left my money bag in my college Damn it!"she exclaimed checking her purse and continued "this cafe doesn't even accepts card".

The waiter arrived with a tray and placed the cup of coffee in front of him. "Anything else you require Sir?"asked the waiter. "Yes...would you please bring one more cup of coffee for this lady?"he replied. The waiter nodded and went away. She kept staring at him with her mouth open. "I...i am sorry but did you just order a coffee for me?I didn't ask for one and i guess we don't know each other"she said. "Well you didn't ask for one but you needed a cup of coffee isn't it? And i don't help people by checking whether i know them or not, its just a gesture"he replied. "Well thanks but ho...how did you know that i wanted a cup of coffee only"!the girl asked. "Well...ma'am nobody would like to have a main course or a dessert in this condition. You are drenched with water and even shivering due to cold. At this time coffee is the only thing that a person would want"he replied. The girl smiled and kept staring at him. The innocent face, the rainbow like smile and the dimple formation on his face during the smile attracted her very much. The waiter arrived again with the cup of coffee and put it in front of her and went away. "Well how will i repay you back for this coffee"?asked the girl. "You don't need to. Some things are meant to happen"came the reply. "Weather reports are bad. People are requested not to move out for the next two hours"the news reporter announced on the television. "So....tell me something about you"he asked. The girl took a sip of the hot coffee and placed the cup on the table and looked up ready to answer.......____________________
1 Hour Later
To hide the monotonous sound of falling rain a waiter started the music system of the cafe and an empty stage in the corner got lighted up. Couples got up from their seats and started dancing as if this was supposed to be the last dance of their lives. He sat quiet for a moment and then slowly moved his hand towards her palm. The next moment he was holding her palm in his hand and started embracing them with his thumb. "Would you like to dance?"he asked. "Sure" came the reply. Next thirty minutes all the thoughts related to the society and community had vanished. Only the sound of the melodious , romantic music and the aroma of YARDLEY was hovering in his mind. After some time the girl stopped dancing as she realized she was too close to him. So close that only the rainbow like smile was visible to her. "Well i need to go"she broke off suddenly. She released herself from the grip of the boy and went towards her table. He came after her. She turned and asked "Would you come here again someday"? "If you come"he replied and quickly walked out of the cafe before she could speak again. She picked up her purse and umbrella and was about to leave when she discovered a newspaper on which some dots were made. She picked it up and looked closely and realized that something was spelled in Braille Language (language of the blinds). She went at the counter and gave the newspaper to the waiter"i guess someone left it there lying on the floor". "Ooh! Boy would order a cuppaccino next"exclaimed the waiter. "What do you mean?"she asked looking confused."Oh!nothing Ma'am your new friend uses Braille and as he is a regular customer i often learn some words and the writing of braille. Nice guy he is. Enjoys and lives his life doesn't care about what society does or says to him"explained the waiter. The girl kept listening. "Do....Do you mean to say that the guy who was with me, who danced with me and who was sitting in front of me was...was blind?"she asked her voice stammering in between. "Why...Yes didn't he tell you?"asked the waiter. Unexpected tears appeared in her eyes and throwing her umbrella on the floor she rushed outside to find him...to catch him before he left.......
