[ ten : A-28 ]

THE SAME REOCCURRING DREAM played through her head, torturing her every once and a while.
That familiar boy gripping onto her hand until most of her circulation was cut off.

They were in a cell, two beds, both with teddy bears on them; her's with a pink shirt and his with a blue.

The metal door trapping them in sifted open, two body guards came out followed by the same who had killed her.

The first man grabbed the boy. "Victor! Don't take him!!" She pleaded, the boy was kicking a screaming for her as well. "Don't let him take me Vee!"

Then the second man came and picked her up, she resorted to throwing a fit in his grasp, "l-let go of me! Let me go!" But her cries were useless.

Victor was long gone, into his testing room and she was taken into hers.

"No! No! Stop! No!" She yelled with a strained voice, tears flooding her checks. They strapped her into a bed and the same man that snapped her neck loomed over her with a syringe in his grip.

Inside the syringe was a blue liquid, he came closer to her and she continued to resist. "Stop! Please! No!"

He slapped her across the face, "quite little girl." He ordered, placing the needle of the syringe on top of the soft skin of her left arm.

The nurse standing to the side gave her a pity full look as she couldn't do anything.

Without warning he slid the unknown blue substance into her veins, injecting it.

Her screams could be heard all across the facility if it wasn't for the sound proof walls.

She started twitches, her bones cracking, eyes rolling back. Her mouth began to foam and from her finger tips fire began to spark for a brief moment.

When the twitching and bone crackling stopped her eyes returned back to their amber colour. The flames on her fingers had stopped and she looked around frantically.

"Test 208, failed." He muttered to the nurse who quietly jotted something down on a clipboard.

The door opened, another man in a eggshell white doctors coat came inside.
"Subject A-27 wasn't a complete fail but he hasn't come out of shock, we don't know what the long term affects are going to be."

The man who was testing on her sighed and placed his hands on his hips, "Well it was a certain  fail for subject A-28. We know who the omega is."

She didn't see Victor after that, she was placed in the back of a van, in closed with titanium walls and driving for what seemed to be forever.

When the van took a permit stop the back doors opened, she didn't see what she expected to see; another lab, but the chaotic shores of a rocky beach.

She'd never seen anything out side the cavity and the stimulations they showed her. It was a breathtaking sight.

The wrinkled forehead, grey eyed man helped her out as they stood by the shores.

"You tried your best."  With those words he bent over and cupped her fragile face. She though he was going the kiss her forehead as a job well done but instead his antics were much more sinister.

Snap. The girl was dead, she fell to the ground lifeless. The man watched over her body with approval and jumped back into the van.

With a startle hers eyes shot open to have a view of her ceiling. She screamed as she gripped the bed sheets. A chill sprang through her body as she started regaining memories of the dream. Anastasia had experienced similar dreams, from the point they inject her to her first death but the rest was new. She was left there pondering who Victor was. Her brother? A friend? Or even an unlucky roommate.

Sitting up in her bed the next decision she was about to make who either make or break her emotionless reputation.

Crawling out from under her covers she stood in front of the door next to hers. Without knocking she walked into the room, the sleeping boy laid there, looking at peace. Biting her tongue she shook him awake.
"Hm?" His eyes were semi-open,
"Tasi?" He questioned, she nodded. His eyes brows folded as he looked at her confused, she sensed his body stiffening. Sitting up he asked more questions to the girl who had entered his room. "Why are you here?" His tone was almost poisonous. Tasi began to feel uncomfortable, she was never good with her emotions, she shifted her balance.

"Can I, um, stay with you tonight?" Her voice was unsure if she even wanted to be there but she stuck with it.
"Ou, tough little black bird got scared." He teased her, a devilish chuckle left his mouth. Her and the boy weren't exactly the best of friends, they had more of a though love relationship.
"You know what never mind, I'm gonna make myself some coffee." She got up to leave but he grabbed her wrist.

"Jason!" She hissed, not knowing how much longer she could hold herself together. Her eyes pleaded, he sighed and patted the bed next to him.
"It's alright, you can stay here for the night."

Tasi went underneath the covers and her tears silently began to spill. Even though she was in Jason's bed and he was right next to her she still felt alone.

"Uh, Tasi?" Jason tapped her shoulders he must have her her crying. Anastasia looked over her shoulder with red eyes and flushed cheeks. His expression began stone, he didn't know what was happening.

"I'm fine." She lied. Jason knew those swelling eyes and salty tears weren't a sign of being okay. He became frustrated at her for lying.
"Don't lie to me Ana, what's wrong?" She didn't even explain she just starting crying. All those years her emotions bottled up she just wanted to get everything out. She pulled him into a hug and cried herself to sleep, her head nuzzled into the crock of his neck.
