It was quiet after your words slipped out and you pressed your fingers against your lips. Your cheeks burned hotly when you looked up to see her actually considering your words and you felt your heart beating uncomfortably against your ribs in solid thumps that made you feel like puking. Just when you were considering to tell her to forget it a bright smile curled over her lips.

She placed her hands lightly on her hips and beamed happily with a blush of her own and giggled. "Okay. Let's go on a date then."

You looked at her in surprise, her soft smile making her scarlet eyes glow sweetly. She had a new style in her hair, down long with a tie like a headband on her hair pushing her bangs down but she smiled. You then felt your eyes widen and a wide, hopeful smile curled over your lips and you were sure you must have gained some sparkle in your eyes and nodded. "Okay!"

"Want to walk me home?" She asked then tilting her head softly then giggled lightly. "Think of it consummating our relationship! Only without the sexual intercourse!"

Your cheeks were uncomfortably hot as she grabbed your hand and you both began walking down the street from your original point. Which was under a little hood of a shop to wait for the rain to turn to a lighter pace or a mist. She was adorable that much was clear but you just couldn't help but feel like this was too easy. Did....she maybe like you too? You didn't know but her warm, slender hand in yours was enough confirmation that maybe she did.

It felt nice to hold her hand and you noted that while her hand was slender itbwas also kinda small but strongly gripped yours tightly. It as a rather long walk to her house and you found yourself wanting it to be just a little tiny bit further away.

That was in the beginning. It's been about five months since then and you still felt happier than anything when you were with Kiku. She was sweet and sweet, everything you could wish for in a partner right down to being attentive. School had started up in the past three months, though, and both her and your schedules were different with only one class together at the end of the day. You walked the hall sighing softly as you caught sight of Kiku's scarlet hair swaying in front of you down the hall. The someone tapped your arm and you looked over your shoulder to see green eyes staring up at you and you smiled.

"Gumi! You look good!" You got the words out surprised as you looked at her and a wicked grin curled over her lips. She then slapped your shoulder playfully and she laughed lightly.

"You look good too! More.....mature."Gumi replied slowly as she stared at your face, her green eyes burning into your face then she smiled softly. "So I heard you were dating Juon! Interesting girl huh?"

You nodded enthusiastically and you were sure there had to be some light or sparkle in your eyes. "Yeah! She's super sweet and nice! We've been dating five months now and it's still unbelievable!"

Gumi smiled as she adjusted her bag on her shoulders and looked up at you. "That's good. I'm glad you seem to be so happy! Just make sure Juon is happy too."

You nodded firmly and smiled. "I will." You replied when she smiled softly walking off with a wave and you sighed to yourself rushing to class.

One class period later~

"Oh my goddd." You groaned walking to your locker and leaning your forehead against it staring at the bright color blankly. One period done and five more to go. You felt thin arms hugging your arm and straightened to look down at Kiku's glowing scarlet irises and her warm, happy smile.
