Challenge time! (kuro/lance oneshot!)

Challenge time!

From afar Kuro was an exact replica of Shiro, but the closer you got and the more you looked you could tell he was different. Kuro was about 2 inches shorter, he has less muscles and is slightly skinner than Shiro. he has less scars, although he still has the scar on his nose, it is smaller and not as noticeable. kuro's eyes glowed yellow when he gets angry, his skin is very pale with a hint of purple in. And the biggest difference was that he still had both of his arms.

Kuro's POV

"Kuro, jut get it in your head! Lance likes me more then you, I'm his hero!" Shiro shouted at me. We argued privately away from everyone else, no one ca know about this, Especially Lance. "Not true! He's mine, I've liked him from the beginning and you haven't" I knew I liked lance as soon as my eyes fell upon him. At first it was because of his looks, but as we got to know each other I became to love everything about him. "well he's not ever going to love a Galra like you" Shiro said this, knowing that t will hurt me. I decide to say something back that I know will hurt Shiro "Maybe Lance wants someone who isn't part robot!" Shiro scoffed and started to say something but I cut him off.  "We will she who he loves, we have two weeks to win him over. Winer get to do allsorts of couple stuff with him, like kissing cuddles and even sex" I hope this challenge doesn't come back to bite me in the ass. "Your on Kuro, as long as the looser cant do anything about it and leave the couple alone" I nod and we shook hands sealing the deal we just made.

Later that night I was making a plan of how I could win lance over when someone knocked on my door. "come in" the door opened and Lance walked in. "Oh, hi lance" I said nervously as I quickly hid the plans. "hey. I uh, I wanted to tell you something Kuro" Lance said, seeming  a bit shy. '"you can tell me anything lance, you know that. don't be scared" He sat down next to me on my bed. "okay, so I was talking to hunk earlier and he told me that I shouldn't keep this in anymore" He paused wile he gained the courage to tell me something. I place my hand on his thigh to try and calm down. "I-I'm..im in love with you Kuro" A deep blush danced across his face. I couldn't believe it, my heart started to beat faster and a small blushed appeared on my cheeks. I managed to win lance over without even doing anything! "Oh lance! I'm in love with you too" His eyes lit up after hearing my response. "R-really!?"  Lance stuttered out. "Yes! I have since I met you. I thought that you liked Shiro, you always said he's your hero" Lance smiled at me. "its you I love Kuro. Shiro used to be my hero, but then he stated to ignore my inputs to the team, he started to shout at me. He slowly started to become less and less of a hero to me" I smile brightly and pulled Lance into  a hug and he instantly hugged me back. "Um Lance earlier today me and Shiro made a deal to see who could win you over, because he loves you too, and I was wondering if I could still do it?"  Lance smiled at me. "sure, I want Shiro to feel what I did. to put on tones of work to get something for it to then turn you down. I want Shiro to feel the pain that I did" He looked up at me hoping I got what he meant, and believe me I sure did. Lance and I hugged once more before he got up to leave. I quickly stood up and called after him. "W-wait lance!" He turned and looked up at me seeing as I was about 3 inches taller than him. "C-can I kiss you lance" He blushed and giggled. "Of course you can silly, you don't need to ask next time" I smiled then held his head gently in my hand. Lance looked up at me as I leaned down and pressed my lips on his. He kissed back almost instantly, the kiss wasn't long or heated, I didn't need to be. after about five seconds we both pulled away with a light blush  on our faces. "Lance be my boyfriend?" I blushed a shade darker as the question left my lips. "Yes! I will" We hugged one more time with huge smiles on our faces. "Goodnight Kuro" "Goodnight Lance" With that Lance left my room and I couldn't be happier with what just happened. I fell asleep with thought o lance dancing around my head. 

It was morning which meant the challenge has officially started, I had nothing to worry about knowing that I already had Lance, and Shiro had no chance. I already know what I'm going to do today, and I know that lance will love it. As I got in the kitchen I could already tell that Shiro was trying to get Lance's attention, although Lance was distracted thanking Hunk for breakfast. Lance smiled at me as I sat down to eat. Shiro had finally got Lance's attention and I'm guessing he's asking to hang out or something. I thought I would be jealous watching Shiro talk to Lance, but I'm not, I know that Lance is mine and would never leave me for Shiro. After breakfast lance left with Shiro to do something, but not before he gave me a quick kiss when no one was around.

After a few hours Lance walked in to my room. "how was it?" I question. "oh my god, it was actually boring. he took me to see the stars.  know when we first got in to space all I talked about the stars, but after three years of constantly being surrounded y them it gets boring" He mumbled out. I walked over to Lance and gave him a quick kiss. "well its a good thing that I know your going to love where I take you" Lance smiles widely making his eyes crinkle at the edge, which was adorable. "Can you tell me where we are going?" Lance pleaded giving me puppy eyes. "no can do kitten, its a surprise. but we can go now" Lance blushes at the et name I gave him. "I'm going to need to blindfold you" Lance nodded and let m put it on him. I lead lance to thank simulator room, the one where you can make it look like anything. "lance I'm gong to put something on you okay" He just nodded and allowed me to put a rain coat on him, I also put one on myself.

I lead lance in to the room, I had managed to program the room so it king of resembled earth, seeing s I've never been there. I even made it rain. I know how much lance misses the rain. "you can take of the blindfold now kitten" Lance reached up and took off the blindfold, his eyes widened at the sight before him. "Kuro.... It looks exactly like earth" His eyes started to water, mission accomplished. he loves it. "that's not even the best part" As if on queue it slowly started to rain, gradually getting faster. This is when Lances tears were set free from his eyes, falling down his cheeks one after the other. "I love it!" Lance managed to say in between sobs. I pulled Lance close, embracing him in a hug. Lance looked up and smiled at me, his blue eyes sparkling. I couldn't help but kiss him. Lance played in the rain for a while as I just sat and watched him enjoy himself.

Lance was now all dry and cuddled into my chest. "Kuro, I think we should tell him" He looked up at me smiling slightly. "if that's what you want, but let me come with you" Lance nodded and got up from my bed. We walked down the halls towards Shiro's room, holding hands when no one was around. Lance knocked on Shiro's door and it opened soon after. "lance! oh your here to" Shiro's voice lowered hen he noticed me. "Shiro I want you to stop this stupid challenge" Lance said, standing slightly behind me, like he was scared. "Finally chose me huh" Shiro said acting cocky. "Actually, Shiro, he chose me. Before this challenge even begun." I hat to say that, Shiro was acting all high and mighty. "What! Lance you chose to date a Galra. A Galra! I'm your hero! why didn't you pick me!" Shiro's words hurt but its al worth it. Lace got a sudden burst of courage. "Was Shiro! You were my hero, until you started to shout at me! until you ignored me! Blamed me when the team goes wrong! And you know who has bee there to comfort me? Kuro has! I couldn't care less if he was Galra or Human!" Shiro shrunk back hearing the truth spill from Lance's mouth. Halfway through Lance's rant he grabbed my hand, squeezing it tightly. Doing that gave me a burst of courage also. "Shiro if you truly loved lance you wouldn't have shone him the stars, were in space! surrounded by them! You should have shown him something he really misses. Like rain, just like I did!" Shiro looked at the floor in defeat. "I guess your right, Lance deserves you, not me. I'm happy for you really" Shiro shut his door after he said that, Lance and I went back to my room. We decided to tell the other team members in the Moring.

Lance had fallen asleep, protected in my arms. Finally I'm not just Shiro's clone, I'm not stuck in his shadow. I'm now loved, seen as an individual. Finally I can say that I'm truly happy.
