Chapter 36

I gasped as I tried to sit up and saw that I was strapped down. Where was I? I felt my environment moving and realised that I was in an ambulance van. That's when I felt a hand holding my own.
"

Everything is going to be OK." I looked to my side and saw a man around in his fifties smiling down at me. I looked at our hands quietly before crying. He reminded me of my dad. I wanted my dad but there wasn't a way that could happen.

"Are you in pain?" I shooked my head and tried to remain quiet for the rest of the journey. When the van stopped the back door opened and I was wheeled out of the hospital. The paramedic let go of my hand before gently placing it on my stomach. "I will come and check on you later." I tried to nod before I was wheeled into a ward for examination.

After being examined I was left alone in a ward to rest. I felt physically ill and that because I took in a lot of the water from the river which was dirty. I was told that I had to stay overnight to be observed in case anything was wrong. "Callar." I looked up and saw my mum and sister. I couldn't help but feel a bit angry with them. I know they weren't getting it easy especially my mum but don't they know that I would be the one being insulted and teased all the time.
"We are sorry." My mum started. "We didn't mean for you to be hurt. I was angry I had lost something I had worked years for."
"I understand."
"But that doesn't mean I hate you. A mum can never hate their child. I am just a bit concerned."
"I understand." My mum shook her head before continuing. "Me and Miranda watched the video again and the boy he didn't do anything did he?" I quickly shook my head before my mum rushed to me and hugged me. My sister stood back still."Why did you do it?"
"Jump of the bridge?"
"Yh."
"I am fed up." She came to me before wrapping her arms round me. "I thought you were dead."
"Well I am not going anywhere OK?" I said firmly. She nodded before bringing out a bag of sensations. I smiled weakly while she frowned.

"Don't you want it Callar?"
"I do but my stomach is weak." She looks down at my stomach before giving it a rub.
"How come?"
"I drank a lot of river water."
"Eww."
"I know."
"This is the last time we end up in the hospital." My mum declared.

"Remember how you said the last time we were here that you won't let any of us leave the house until we are 35 or was it 50." Miranda asked.

"It can be 50." My mum answered while I groaned. Great now mum has increased the age. We talked as if nothing bad had ever happened then Daniel came. His eyes looked watery as if he had been crying. The minute he set eyes on me he rushed to me, bent down to me and hugged me while he sniffed loudly. "Are you crying?" I asked.
"No." He replied quickly while still hugging me.
"Daniel?"
"Yes. Yes I am Callar." He pulled away while looking at me and I started to cry softly. I hated it when people cried in front of me. It just makes me want to cry.

"Why did you try it Callar? That's why I am here and I am sorry if it seemed like no one was there for you." He said while going back to hugging me. We stayed like this for a while before I started to speak.

"No one understood how I felt. I was getting teased online and in school because of Miranda's pictures and my video." I paused as I let my tears fall. "People hated me. I hated me." Daniel quickly stop me and hugged me tightly. "Dont you dare say that!" Daniel sais as his voice cracked.

"Right now we have to work together to help each other." He pulled away before giving me eye contact. "Emily,Lily and Mr Josh have now been arrested and the police are working on something with Joel to help him and his family get the support the escape the gang life. Now that you have helped us to help Luke it's time we help your mum and sister to help you OK." I nodded before wiping my nose. "We need to help you find out who is the user 'you must see this is because the person behind the username doesn't want Lily and Emily   to get arrested and they are willing to hurt you a lot of if it means those two are protected. Now that Emily and Lily are in jail awaiting trial the person could try and seriously harm you because they plan didn't work."

I nodded silently as I lay still in fear. My mum wiped her eyes quietly while sniffing. Daniel looked at me again before continuing.

"We might need to hold onto your phone a bit longer. In the meantime you can use this." Daniel pulled out a Samsung phone before giving it to me. I thanked him silently before playing with it in my hands.

I felt so scared and empty but I was happy to have my mum, sister and Daniel with me. Before leaving my mum told me that she would try and get Jason, Ryan and Stephanie to see me which I quickly said no to as I didn't want to bother them.

We just did a fun social experiment and I don't want to ruin it with me jumping of a bridge. I reached and touched my chest to feel it empty. The necklace was gone. It wasn't there.

Then I remembered. I left it on the ground. Stupid me.

But someone in black took it just as I jumped and I think it know who it is.

'You must see this!'
