I didn't want to go home and face Chris because I knew I was probably gonna fall back in his arms again. I've been so naive lately and that needs to stop. I got up from August's bed and grabbed my clothes wearing them. His eyes fluttered open and he looked at me.

"Where you going?" His voice was raspy

"I'm going home August" I wore my heels and walked over to his side of the bed giving his a gentle kiss on the lips.

"I'll see you later baby" I slightly smiled and he nodded

"Love you" he bite his lip

"...Love you too baby" I smiled before leaving, a call came in from Messiah and I picked it up

"Hello?"

"Mom! oh my goodness where are you??" she sounded worrid

"I spent the night at Augusts h-house" I sniffed feeling tears fall from my eyes

"Mom are you crying?, dads crying too and he won't stop" she sighed

"What happened?" She asked

"He cheated Messiah" I cried getting into the Uber

"We are all gonna talk about this when you get home" she said

"Messiah I don-" she had hung up, I grumbled wiping my tears. I got out the Uber and smiled at him, my house wasn't far from August'.

"Mom!" Josiah yanked the door open and pulled me in

"Are you ok?" he asked hugging me

"No" I frowned

"Come sit, dads about to drink himself to death" he sighed

"There's nothing I can do about that" I shook my head

"Yes you can." he dragged me tot he couch and I saw chris crying with his face in his face and a hennessy bottle beside him

"I-I j-just don't know w-what's w-wrong with me!" he shouted, Messiah rubbed his back

"shhh dad it's ok"

"No it's not, I fuck everything up all the time!, she tell you I denied you and your brother??" he looked at her and I sighed sitting next to him. He looked towards me and hiccuped.

"I just want all of this to end, I wanna end it all Zi. If i'm gone everything and everyone will be happy" he whispered and I slapped him

"Don't you EVER say that again!" I shouted, his jaw clenched and he looked down

"You have three kids Chris, don't put suicidal shit in to your head" I warned

"Your right I-I'm sorry" he looked down

"You guys go finish helping Zach get ready for school" I looked at the twins and Josiah groaned

"Mama I got the go, early practice today" Messiah smiled, she's always loved basketball just like Chris

"All you Josiah"

"Nah, I-I've got umm.....STUFF" He chuckled nervously

"Stuff my ass boy go help your brother" I flicked him off

"Y'all fucked?" Chris blurted out

"Yea so" I shrugged

"I'm so sorry Zion" He lay on my stomach

"Stop saying sorry because i'm always going to forgive you because I love you, just prove to me that your sorry and that you actually love me." I played in his hair

"Daddy, mommy is calling" I looked up seeing Ziyan

"Hey daddy's girl" Chris sat up and I sat her on my lap

"Hey ZiZi" she smiled

"You good?" I asked

"I'm straight" I raised a brow

"What?, Daddy says it" she laughed

"Chris what are you teaching my twin" I tickled her

"Nothing!" He smirked

"Ziyan you dress yourself?" I asked

"Yes!, I'm a grown woman" she sung, she actually had a beautiful voice

"Grown my ass girl walk on" Chris mushed her head and she laughed

"You going to school with your brother?" I asked her

"Yah!" she giggled, she hugged my neck and I blushed

"I love you ZiZi" she whispered

"Love you too munchkin" I looked at Chris and he blushed, she let go and Josiah picked her up taking her to the car

"Josiah c'mere real quick" Chris called

"Wassup dad" he asked

"Leave yah mama's car, here" He through him brand new keys

"Chris you didn't" My mouth dropped

"I did" He kissed my cheek

"Ah shit thanks dad" They hugged and Josiah took the kids and left

"Messiah gon' come back and get hers after school" He smirked

"You do to much" I rolled my eyes playfully

"All for you baby" he pulled me by my ankles towards him and I giggled wrapping my arms around his neck. He kissed my lips laying me down on the couch.

"Let's take this upstairs" he whispered and I nodded looking in his eyes.

"Wait!" he smiled

"What?" I raised a brow, he then go down on one knee and I gasped when he pulled a little box out. He opened it revealing a diamond ring.

"YES!" I jumped up hugging him

"I love you so much" I pulled him into a kiss and he picked me up carrying me upstairs

Chris has always been a gentleman, ever since we were 13 I had a little crush on him but he never noticed. I never thought I would fall in love with my best friend but I did. We have had our ups and downs but we stay strong at the end of the day and I love him for everything he's done. We have three wonderful..No make that four. Ziyan is the new addition to the family because Anais left to travel the world so I will be adopting that beautiful little girl. I'm so thankful for everything God has given me and I couldn't ask for anything better and not that we are engaged it made me even more thankful...
