It's been about a month since the Legends defeated Mallus and ripped open a hole to daemon realms. But things have been quiet and, since they've been together for a while now, Sara thinks it's time Ava met her family. So, Sara got in contact with Laurel, Quentin, and Dinah and said there was someone she'd like for them to meet. They set up a time and date and decided to meet at Laurel's for a family (+Ava) dinner. None of them even know who Ava is. Quentin and Dinah both haven't seen Sara in about 2 years, while Laurel saw her a few months ago at Barry and Iris's wedding when they had to fight off nazi invaders from earth-x. But that was before Sara realized that she had feelings for Ava.
The day finally came and Sara and Ava were standing outside Laurel's apartment. Ava's nervous and Sara tells her: "my family will love you almost as much as I do, I'm sure. I mean, how could that not." With that, Sara knocks on the door, Laurel's voice calls "come in" and they walk inside. Sara and Laurel immediately hug before Sara introduces Ava to her. Because Quentin and Dinah are not there yet, they wait in the living room. When her parents get there, Sara jumps up and runs to hug them, next she introduces Ava, "Mom, Daddy, meet Ava Sharpe, Director of the Time Bureau and my girlfriend." After a nice dinner, they relax in the living room, Quentin and Dinah on one couch, and Sara, Laurel, and Ava on the other, Sara's in the middle, squished between her two favorite people, her sister and her girlfriend. Eventually, Sara and Ava had to leave, Sara saying she'd promised Felicity they'd stop by.
They take Sara's bike and park outside Ollie's old campaign office. They take the elevator down to the bunker, the only one there is Felicity. Felicity's 4 months pregnant with her and Ollie's baby girl. After being introduced to Ava and hugging them both, Felicity tells them that the others should be back any moment. When they get back, Ava is being introduced to Team Arrow when Sara gets a call from Gideon. She looks worried and immediately says "Ava, open a portal to the wave rider now, I'm afraid my team has gone and done something infinitely stupid."
