"Dad, are you absolutely sure this is Aunt Karen?" Tic asked, still not completely sure himself.

"It is, Tic. We made sure of it." I could feel two sets of eyes directly on me while the others talked among themselves.

Hoodie finally looks over at his partner and lightly smacks him upside the head. "Dude, are you checking out the new girl?"

Masky quickly looked away and rubbed the back of his neck. "I didn't realize I was staring."

Tic turned away as well to talk with his fellow proxies and the feeling of eyes burning into me faded.

Feeling someone tap my arm, I turn to see the one who was eating a waffle. Toby, if I remember correctly.

"C-Come on, I'll show you to y-your room." With the occasional tick of his head and stutter in our conversation, Toby lead me through the old mansion. We even passed some of the others on the way, but they chose to keep their distance for the time being.

The room the boys were told to prepare was small, but still a decent size for moving about comfortably. The bed in the corner of the room was small enough for two people and had sheets that were white as snow.

The closet in the corner had a few outfits, but the one that stood out the most was a short black dress that had green lace lining the neckline and skirt, with black skinny jeans to go under.

"According to Trender, th-that dress was based on your mom's killing outfit," Toby explained when he saw the dress I was looking at.

"Thanks, for being the first person relatively normal person I know around here."

He chuckled lightly before grabbing another waffle. "N-No problem. Dinner will be ready in a few minutes." with that said, he left, munching on the waffle.

Locking the door and closing the curtains (you never know what kind of people live here), I grabbed a tank top and some regular jeans, which look like denim capris on me.

The reflection of light from the corner caught my eye. Walking over after putting my hair up in a braid, I realize it was a katana with a note attached.

Hey new kid,

I heard on the news (and from Tic) that you didn't have a handle on your powers yet. So I'm giving you one of my old blades to use on killings.

Glad to help out in a little way.
           Your neighbor,
            -Jeff the Killer

I smiled and grabbed the katana. It had a decent weight and was easy to handle.

Tying the sheath around my waist, I went out back, finding some cardboard box dummies.

Well, I could do double training before dinner.

Focusing on freezing the area around me in the moment, I kept this thought in my mind. Taking in my current surroundings, it seemed I was the only one outside.

Turning back to the boxes, I took a deep breath and sliced through them. Turning around, I sheath my katana and see that the proxies came to watch.

Smirking, I walked behind them and stopped focusing on keeping time frozen.

The boxes I cut through fell on the ground while the boys looked amazed.

"W-Where'd she go?" Toby asked.

"Not sure, man. She could be anywhere," Hoodie replied.

I leaned in between Masky and Tic. "Who ya looking for?"
