My brother Jackson and I decided to go to the coffee shop this morning.

It's been a long time since I've talked to anyone about my problems.

I sipped on my hot chocolate because I wasnt really a fan of coffee.

"Spill the hot chocolate" Jackson said. "Huh?" I asked. He sighed. "It means spill the tea but since you're drinking hot chocolate, you don't have tea. So you can't spill it. Get it?" He smiled.

"Yeah, Okay" I took a deep breath. I told him everything about Tae and all my problems and my worry's.

"I'm so sorry y/n...but, I have a gift for you to make you feel better!" He exclaimed. "Hmm?"

He digged in his pocket, pulling out a piece of paper. 'Huh?' I thought. 'This better not be a prank'

"Here, open it tomorrow, since I'm leaving to go to korea tomorrow, I hope you'll be happy while I'm gone for 4 months. Don't worry y/n, I'll come back as fast as I can. I just wanted you to be happy. And remember, I'm going to korea to work and earn money for us, not to have fun" he squished my cheeks.

I smiled but deep inside me I was crying. My brother was leaving. Again. He's leaving but I don't want him to. I'm scared that he will be gone too.

"Hey y/n..just wanted to let you know...I love you, you're the only person who actually cares about me, and I'll promise you that I will protect you no matter what..." they both frowned but weakly smiled.

"Oh and.." Jackson's eyes go dark. "Before you have a boyfriend, make sure I have his approval first" he said sternly. "Uh, okay" I said, voice a little shaky because Jackson doesn't talk like that normally.

It was the next day. I was sad. Actually. I didn't fall asleep until 2 because Jackson is leaving and I love Jackson. He's the best brother I could ever ask for. And he's not blood related to me but he still treats me like family.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. Actually no, I woke up before my alarm went off.

I knocked on Jackson's door. "J-Jackson, w-wake...up" I sniff trying my best not to be sad. I was sucking all my tears back to my eyes.

He opened the door all ready. Is he that excited? His face softer when he saw my eyes. Then he pulled me into a tight hug. "Please don't cry" he said softly. "I'll come back, I promise"

Still, I don't believe those words. "P-promise?" I whispered. "I promise" he said and smiled. He then ticked me and I laughed so hard but I know that he's just doing that because he doesn't want to moment to be sad, because I won't see him for 4 months.

He went downstairs and ate some breakfast, then he checked his if he had all his stuff. While he was doing that, I remember the note that he gave me.

I dashed to my room and found the envelope.
The front of the envelope says.

To: My lovely sister
From: Jackson

Hey y/n, I know your sad that I'm gone, don't worry, I'll come back :). Anyways, I don't want you sad and depressed when I leave so I put something in this envelope to cheer you up
Don't freak out ;)

I smiled and put the envelope in my bag. Then Jackson knocked on my door. "You ready?" He asked.

"Yeah" I faked a smile.

Then it was the airport. My anxiety builded up on me. 'Why does he have to go?' Now I regret waking up this morning.

Jackson can leave any second now. Then I heard it say Jackson's number and plane. I looked at him with glossy eyes, about to cry.

He smiled weakly to me. We pulled eachother into a hug, a very soft but tight one. "J-Jackson, I'll miss you, be safe" I said sobbing. "I'll miss you too" tears now running into his face. I kissed his cheek and he picked up his things.

When he was about to go, I stopped him. "Jackson wait!" I said. He turned around. "I ran to him and hugged him but so let go. I sighed in my bag. "Jackson, have this, whenever you are having a bad time, you could always she this out" I said and gave him a box.

He smiled. "Thank you" "Okay, you'll be late Jackson! See you soon!" I said. He waved to me and when I didn't really see him, I thought he would turn around one more time, but he's already out of my sight.

I broke down in tears and everyone was looking at me.

I miss him already even though I just saw him a couple of seconds ago.
