"All there's left is memories of you. A last remembrance."

•••••••

I was walking down the streets towards my house using an umbrella. It was raining heavily. The sound of ripples the raindrops made reminded me of someone. I remembered how that someone talked about rain and winter being her favorite seasons. Rain? I doubted so.

"Yah Kiki!" A voice shouted. I turned my head to the melodious voice and frowned.

"What's with the frown, huh, Kiki?" she asked as she ran to my side with a book on her head and locked my neck in her arm. Her hairs were soaked wet, so were her clothes.

I stopped on my tracks and shared the shelter I had been holding onto with her while struggling to get out of her arm.

"I told you to stop calling me that!"

She let go of me. She grinned and pinched both of my cheeks. "Aigoo, kyeopta~~!" she cooed. I playfully shot her a death glare while rubbing my reddened cheeks and she raised both her hands in surrender. I let out a small laugh. After all, I could never stay mad at her.

"So, is this the reason why you left me alone at school? Because I won't stop calling you Kiki?" I nodded. Laughing, she slapped my arm like how she usually did. You might wanna know something. Her slaps stung. "Yah, then what am I supposed to call you? Hyunhyun? Byun byun?" she teased.

"You can just call me by my name, as in the NORMAL way?" I suggested, emphasizing the word 'normal'.

She tilted her head and pouted. She was always like that when thinking deeply. Although at that time, she was pretending to think about it. She didn't really want to change that, obviously. *sighs*

"Meh! Normal isn't fun. Besides, calling you with something unique makes me feel special!" She giggled before sticking her tongue out at me.

I chuckled. "Why don't you just call me Baekkie? Like when we were ten?"

Her teasing grin suddenly dropped. She looked down as she fiddled her fingers.

"Your fangirls call you that."

"Oh.."

"Let's go?" She faked a smile. I nodded. We then began walking side by side to our usual after school hangout place, the EXO Café. But no one talked along the way.

Silence.

While waiting for the awkward situation to end, why don't I give you readers a clue about our relationship?

So the name's Baekhyun, Byun Baekhyun. And the beautiful, cheerful little girl next to me, the source of my daily dose of happy virus, Park Joo Min. The girl I love.

We're inseparable, like what they always said. We had been best friends since we were kids, because we're neighbors and we practically met each other from our moms. They were alumnus of the same school, so, yeah, that's how it all started.

Joomin and I walked home together from school, too. Her mom had always entrusted her daughter with me. She wanted me to protect Joomin. Of course, I was willing to that with a big heart. I'd even die for her, IF necessary. She wouldn't want me to leave her just like that, would she? *smirks*

"Yah, why are you staring at me like that?" she snapped, breaking the silence.

"A-aniyo..let's get you your ice cream! My treat," I nervously said.

She jumped in joy and laughed. "Ne! Chocolate! Chocolate!"

She was very cute, doing aegyos and stuff. I couldn't suppress my laugh and patted her head. I decided to tease her a bit. "But first, order me a 'Baekhyun oppa~' with extra aegyo, please." I smirked.
