SAO- Glitches - Chapter 1

A/N- This story is an AU of the show SAO and if you have not watched the show yet then I recommend you watch it, you dont have to as the characters will not talk to the characters of the show that often, its like It is its own story but in the same place.

Today is the day that SAO comes online and before that there were only 1000 beta players, so they will be the ones to get farther in the game then anyone else. I (Chikara Okami) Got the game first but I did not get it for myself, Im not into that kind of stuff, too scary of what could go wrong with that head set and I mean how do people just put these things on with no fear of what can happen to them if something where to brake inside the helmet. Well anyways, I got it for my brother since he is always into that kind of stuff. When I gave it to him today he lit up like fireworks on the 4th of July in America. I was so happy to see that he liked the gift that I gave him, I mean it cost like 165,631 Yen, which is 1500$ for Americans. He wanted to play with me some time, but I said no, and he looked bumbed, so I had to go out and get another set, but I let him try out the game first. I only want to make him happy, after what happen 5 years ago.

5 years ago, our parents died in a fire. It was set by the stove not being turned off all the way and dad lighting a sig. After that boom, they died and now I work, and he lives with me, his 17 year old brother. I have been sitting next to him for a while, he was playing SAO right now. I wish I could see but Im too scared anyway, the only thing I like doing is programing on the PC but right now all that matters to me is my brothers safety. I was sitting next to his bed just in case something goes wrong and I can pull him out myself, but. There was an emergency broadcast that told everyone that every person you know that has the head gear on should not betaken off due to a unknown problem in the game, they are now stuck and if you try to take the head gear off they will die so please take this person to the nearest hospital where they will get life support if needed, and this ends the emergency broadcast.

I was shocked to hear this and was scared not only for my brother but what would happen to me without him. I cant live without him next to me making me happy, he is the only thing that I care about in this world. All I could think about was saving his life and nothing more than that, so I got the head set and the game but before I go into there I needed to see If I can hack the gear to see the problem and see if I can get every Item in the game and get out without dying with the logout button.

Now were here, all caught up in the hacking of the nerve gear. Im almost complete with the hacking and I wont know that it would work until I put it on and I have no clue what to expect when I get into there, and believe me, Im so scared Im about to piss myself. This is all for my brother, I can do this. Head gear on, feels nice. Ok, Link Start.

Everything starts to rush by as I feel my body tingle and leave my body in a way I cant describe. The log in is there so I log in and. Nothing. is it broken? The log in screen glitches out and now it says nothing but one thing, Glitch.exe. I did not know what to make of it, so I tried to touch it and oddly enough I had a body or a body of code and nothing else. This wasnt supposed to happen.... Then I went ahead and touched the Glitch.exe and the same thing happen when you say link start but this time it seems out of order or glitches would be a better term.

Everything then when black and no matter how hard you look you could not see a single thing but then suddenly it was light again. Like going from 100% blackness to 100% light in a second so It was blinding and all I could feel was air rushing around me like I was falling so I looked and sure thing, I was falling out of the sky which looked like the first floor and not too far into the game. I was almost pleased that it was not far into the game so then it would not be hard to find my brother, but I was falling so I thought I would die in the beginning of the game from fall damage.

But then I felt something like my body was separating but it wasnt hurting at all, more of a odd feeling and then I was on the ground. I dont know what happen but Im fine.

what, how could I get one so early in the game? I investigated the mail section of the inventory and I could not believe what I could see. Something that would be a 1/100000000000 chance that this could happen, that I would get this in my inventory.
