"oh, firewood, i need you!" dahyun called out. she was sent out to look wood for their fire.
"aha!" she heard a familiar coming from towards the lake. she decided to see what it was. she walked through the bushes and saw someone catching fish. it was jaebum. she smiled at how good he was.
"great job!" she exclaimed and startled the guy.
"why are you here?" he said, coldly.
"i was looking for fire wood, and found you." she smiled and walked towards him.
"didn't i tell you to stay away from me?" he stepped out of his rock and put a fish in his basket.
"uh, that's... that's a lot of fish." she changed the subject. he didn't make eye contact with her and left with the basket.
"wait for me!" she raised her voice, so he could hear her. she ran until she was beside him.
"why are you avoiding me? i've done nothing to you." she frowned.
"your parents hate me, apparently." he thought.
"you're still the same." he muttered.
"what?"
he shook his head and made his walking his faster. dahyun didn't mind to chase after him again, and instead stopped.
"seriously, what's wrong with that guy?"
"dahyun-ah!" the memory kept replaying in his head after that. he couldn't stand being with her, after what happened.
he reached their spot first.
"jaebum hyung! where's the fish?" jackson ran towards his elder. jaebum just gave him the basket as he leaned to a tree. jackson took it and skippped back to the spot.
dahyun finally came.
"sorry for the hold up! here's the fire wood anyways." she put the fire wood down and sat on the sand next to nayeon.
"uh, who knows how to make fire?" taehyung asked, no one in particular.
"i'll do it." jinyoung said and leaned forward for the fire wood.
"but, i don't how to make fire." he said, nonchalantly.
"if you don't how, you're just gonna burn yourself!" jisoo seemed concerned.
"it's okay. i found this lighter, that belongs to ha sooyoung." he read the name written on the lighter. the wood was finally lit.
"let's make fish!" bambam yelled. jaebum was walking to sit next to the rest and pushed bambam.
"ow."
after a while...
the finally finished. turns out, mark can cook fish really well. they used leaves as their plates. jinyoung took one fish and put in on a plate and gave it to nayeon.
"oh, thank you." she took the food as she thanked him.
"no problem." he smiled, heart-warmingly.
