SHE didn't want to go.
"lia, hurry up, we're going to be late!" amelie yelled as she ran from the bathroom into lia's room, frowning when she saw the dancer spread out like a starfish on her queen-sized bed.
lia didn't respond. she liked parties, but only if they were in small groups with her closest friends. amelie was actually invited to this party organised by her close friend to celebrate his world cup win. But since she had no date, the sociable model decided to bring, or rather drag, the introverted dancer to the party.
"you know i hate parties. i don't even know this guy. what's his name? patrick?" lia asked, a look of annoyance and frustration on her face.
"it's paul. paul pogba." amelie glared at her best friend. "now shut up, you need to get dressed. here, try this on." a glittery thin silver material hit lia square in the face.
"ow, what was that for!" it looked quite fragile, so lia gently slipped it on, earning a look of shock from amelie.
"good god you look stunning. you need to insta this right now! oh no we're so late! " as quick as a flash, amelie was snapping pictures of lia and pushing her outside the house, while photographers swarmed the house trying to get a picture of the elusive spanish beauty.

"why did paul pogba like my post?" "i just told him to follow you." "but why?" amelie winked. "oh look we're here."
"damn, he has good style." lia thought as she was engulfed in a bear hug by the host of the party wearing gucci from head to toe and a pair of gold circular glasses.
"meet the one and only paul pogba. man united and france national team player. he scored a goal in the world cup final!"
"paul, meet my best friend lia martinez. she's danced with 3 of the most prestigious ballet companies in the world; bolshoi ballet, the royal ballet and la scala ballet, which due to the latter is why she's here in milan. she's also trained in contemporary, jazz and tap. so paul, you are outclassed heavily and you should bow down to the dancing queen." amelie flashed a smile.
