Unexpected Consequences

"This ends HERE!" Renji screams at Y/N as he charges up all his spiritual energy for one final attack. "Renji just MOVE! PLEASE!!" Rukia pleads. Unknown to them, their daughter is looking as the whole thing unfolds right before her eyes. 'Like i'm gunna stay on the sidelines!' She thinks to herself. She runs over to her mom and stands firmly in from of her. "What are you DOING Ichika?!" "I'm gunna protect you-" she stops for a second and looks at Rukia with a confident smile "-just like dad!"

Y/N looks over at Ichika "I honestly dont want to hurt a child.." Renji snaps out of his focus and looks back to see his wife and daughter, "But if she doesnt move away soon, my spiritual pressure is going to crush her" Y/N says with little emotion on his face. Renji sees them both struggling under the weight of Y/N's spiritual pressure. He looks back at Y/N with fury in his eyes. "NO!!! I'm not gunna let you kill them!!" He puts both hands on the hilt of his blade "I'm going to stop you HERE and NOW!! Even if it's the LAST THING I DO!!!"

"...Then you'll die"

Suddenly all of the spirit energy that was building up around Renji disappears and everything moves in slow motion..

"R- ...Renji?.." Rukia says with her eyes wide and already filling with tears

Y/N is already behind Renji in less then an instant with his scythe in front of him.

Renji falls to his knees.. then down on his face.

"RENJI!!" Rukia screams. Ichika cant move, or speak, or blink, let alone look away.

"Now you understand-" Y/N says "-you never had a chance." Y/N appears next to Rukia who's holding Ichika "None of you ever had a chance." Ichikas face turns from one of shock to anger and sadness. She grabs her Zanpakto, and in one move, she breaks out of her mothers grip and slashes at Y/N's neck.

Nothing.

Y/N looks at the girl, still with no emotion, and says "You truly are, the child of these two. Defiant to the very end" Rukia's eyes get wide as Ichika's face turns to one full of fear/shock. Y/N's hand moves quickly towards Ichika, but a white cloak moves in front of her, and Y/N's hand goes right through Rukia as her blood grazes Ichika's face.

"MOM!!" Ichika is frozen as she see's her mom fall to the ground with no look of life on her face.

"Such sacrifice. And for what, some child? In cooperation with the other Captains, they may have had a chance. But instead, they came to this place, to.. 'insure' your safety." With those words Ichika suddenly has a look of horrifying realization on her face, "Hm? What, you mean to tell me that you didn't know?" Ichika's face begins to change as she slowly realizes what he means... "It's your fault, that they're dead."

"My... fault?.." Tears well up in her eyes and begin to fall from her face. "But... but they.. they promised.. that..." "That what? You can't possibly think that everyone would get out of this alive and unscathed, even if you were victorious. Did you really think that you'd all be one big happy family after this was over?" "Shut up!!" "Then tell me. Why would you deserve that?" "Because i didn't do anything to you!..." ichika yells in anger, but soon she runs out of energy much faster then usual and she falls to a knee before forcing herself back up. "No.. no you haven't... however, those two, have". "Just what the hell are you talking about?!? My parents protect people! The defend the innocent and fight the strong! They'll do ANYTHING to protect the ones they care about!-" "-Silence child. Your father took my brother away. And your mother left me to die at the hands of many hollows." "What?" Ichika looked confused, the disbelief was clear in her voice, "There's no way! They wouldn't!" "And yet they did. However, i wasn't planning to kill your mother,-" Y/N looks over at Rukia, "-, she simply got in my way." "Ya cuz you tried to kill me!!" "You attempted to cut my head off just moments before, did you not?.. speaking of which....."

Ichika looked terrified after he said that.. she had no one to protect her now... no one.. Y/N began to slowly walk towards her, Ichika fell backwards but couldn't move any further back. She was frozen by fear.

"Getsuga-" "Hm?" Y/N looked towards the direction of this new voice. "-TENSHOU!!"

An massive black crest of energy slammed into Y/N's side and launched him several hundred meters away. Followed by a massive explosion directed away from Ichika and the man.

"Uncle Ichigo!!." Ichika was beyond relieved and even a little happy for a moment
