I woke up hungry and what seemed to be abandoned. I had no idea what to do. I remembered earlier that Fall that I had a mother and a brother. None of them were there and I was confused so I searched for elk and and small rodents to hunt and eat. I walked through very high snow where I caught two small rabbits. On my journey to find bigger prey I saw a beautiful white husky who looked very intelligent. I barked twice at the majestic wolf and it darted off. I was curious so I followed her. Just as soon as I caught up with her she tumbled under the snow and I lost her. I went back to see what she was eating when I saw her, and finally I found some deer! The husky snuck up behind me and snarled. I knew this was her territory but I thought she wanted to play tackle or something. I pinned her then she nipped me! "Yelp!" I was a bit of a whiner. "Stay away from my food, MUTT!" She growled. I figured she was the alpha dog and I walked away tail between my legs. I turned back and my ears lifted! "Um white husky...? I'm Atlantic, what's your name?" I asked. "Tundra, nice name though, I guess," she smiled and started chasing me, so I ran and tunnelled through soft, thick, snow. We chased each other all afternoon that day. We had so much fun! Tundra and I were very tired so she walked to her cave and I found a forest that had grass I could warm up in. The next morning Tundra was sitting there waiting for me to wake up. " So wanna be friends Atlantic?" She asked me. "Sure.....?" I said weakly. Tundra ran off and of course I followed her. The forest was pretty dark and sort of scary, but whenever I was with Tundra I wasn't as scared and I was more confident.
