After I was done investigating I saw a few paw prints. They looked so familiar I wanted to chase my tail! I thought I was so close! I walked away from the lake and remember water. I grabbed a few leaves and some left over vines to make a small canteen. I swiped the water in the lake and lifted the canteen up and away from the water. I carried on and followed the paw prints. I saw a big cave in the distance which helped a lot. But why would she move from the snow to the rocky mountain area. I walked inside the cave very bravely. Though I could barely see, I tried as hard as I could to walk in a straight path.I then stumbled upon a small glass jar. I saw a few fireflies and thought of a lamp! I ran over quietly and swooped some fireflies in to the jar. Once they were in I jabbed a cork into the jar with my snout. I could see better but not perfectly. I was walking towards the end of the cave and there was nothing. Not a trace of anything that might've lived there, not even the slightest smell. I walked out of the cave a bit sad. I had felt like this adventure had taken forever already. I knew it hadn't been forever but it did feel like it. I kept on wandering thinking What if she isn't lost, what if she is at the cave where I started? I knew it wasn't worth looking but I still wanted too. I'll go back once I'm done exploring the area I told myself. I saw a big hill I would be able to explore, the only downfall was that it was a rocky hill and it was big. I had to climb it or I wouldn't be able to get up.
