Ragini looks shocked at Laksh for this sudden proposal.

Ragini grins getting out from shock,

"Do you know to play jokes? I think, I'm the first one to hear it from you.." Ragini smiles looking at the sea.

Laksh:: I'm serious.

Ragini's smile vanishes.

Laksh:: I want to marry you. For this whole life, I want to be your husband.

Ragini:: may I know the reason, why only me?

Laksh:: bcz, I choose you. I felt you would be the one.

A brief silence awakes for some time.

Ragini:: I don't want to marry you Laksh. I will marry the one whom my parents choose for me.

Laksh remains silent. Ragini stands.

Ragini:: there are so many rich girls for you Laksh. There is no need for you to fall behind a simple school teacher's daughter. I'm sorry.

Ragini is about to go away, Laksh holds her hand. Ragini looks back at him.. Laksh is still looking at sea, he asks...

"I'm alone in this vast universe Ragini. There are so many people around me, but I'm still alone. I want the one who share my life without any selfishness. Who accepts me as me. Who would love me as my mother and father. Ragini,.. I want you to be that girl in my life. Will you..?"

Ragini could feel sweetness in his voice.. and warmth in his hands. But still, she is afraid to accept.. as she was a normal girl.

"No. I'm sorry. I can't do this." Ragini answers.

And then, her hand gets free from Laksh's hand. Ragini looks down sadly and keeps walking away with short steps.

She walks a little bit away and looks back..

Laksh is still looking at the silent sea. Ragini sighs and keeps going away.

Laksh was still sitting at the same place just starring at the sea.

The sunset slowly ends and sunrise arises... (I mean, it's next morning)

Ragini opens her eyes slightly from sleep.. she remembers Laksh's words. No need of remembering all the night she was thinking about his words and she doesn't know when she fell asleep.

"Ragini wake up beta..." from out, Shekar calls Ragini sweetly.

"Umm.." Ragini murmurs in annoyance tone.

"RAGINI" Janaki yells at once.

Ragini startles and she falls from bed.

"Mummy..!!" Ragini annoys and goes out of the room in extreme anger mode. She enters the kitchen and finds Janaki making dosas.

"What?" Janaki asks holding hot dosa spatula.

Ragini smiles nervously.. "hehe.. nothing" she says and sits in the hall along with Shekar.

"Get ready soon. The boy's parents are coming to see you." Shekar says.

Rag:: who's boy? Which boy?

Janaki:: our family astrologer has brought a nice match for you. We didn't get time to tell you this as you were upset yesterday evening and slept too early. Here's the boy's picture..
