"Girl I need to get ready for a work, I will call you back when I get there. All the best and God be with you" I told Aba before she hung up. Today was her first day as a marketer for the Etornam Group of Companies one of the leading industries in Ghana. I went to her house over the weekend to psyche her up for the big task ahead of her.

"Look you really got some low self esteem going on there, let's just pray committing your life and everything into God's hands so that he can guide you and later on I will braid your hair then we head off to Nominom for some ice cream". Right?
"Right" , I finally saw the grin spread widely on her face.
I looked at my watch and realized that I was literally late for work. I hurried across the street to get a breakfast of strawberry milkshake and doughnuts from Shakes n Flavours. I then hailed a taxi and told the driver my destination which was Hair Klinik and Spa.
Upon entering the "office" I saw many of my clients waiting for my arrival. I was very "warmly" welcomed by an angry Mrs. Davies who virtually barked about my tardiness
'Sorry madam for delaying you
'Honey where were you?' my co-worker Nana blurted
'Just dealing with some personal matters'
''Well it has to be worth because that one has been here since my Grandma was born"
I laughed
It was going to be a long day
The last customer left the shop around 5:30pm and my body was aching everywhere. I decided to close the shop and do some shopping for my mom. Aba called me telling me her day was great although her boss was very demanding. She thanked me for the support.
I entered GoCart supermarket and picked a basket and went to the fruit section. I picked pawpaws, oranges and bananas.
I walked to the counter to pay for my stuff and as I was giving them to the teller for her to scan it, one of the cabbages fell down. I bent down to pick it and as I was getting back on my feet I bumped into someone. I turned to apologize only to find out that it was Ekow
S..orry I managed to stutter out
"Next time watch when walking " he said with a scowl on his face and walked away
He did not recognize me . He had changed drastically from a slim lanky guy into a man with broad shoulders,flat chest and even with a beard
"Ma'am your stuff please !" the teller said with an eye brow raised
Thanks I said and walked home.
