Cailynn never thought she’d leave Earth as early as she did. And she definitely never thought she’d go back.
Cailynn had a rough home life, but she was determined to make the best of the rest of her life. That is until it was cut short. Like most people who die, she goes to Heaven where she becomes an Angel, but the things that happened to her down on Earth leave her resenting the planet, and all of its inhabitants. She refuses to let any of the other angels close to her, and is constantly discouraging them of ever seeing their family again.
Wanting to help her, God sends her back to Earth to find the true meaning of love and friendship, and only when she finds it is she allowed to come back. Being kicked out of Heaven only means one thing: She is now a fallen angel.
Having to return to Earth only angers her further, and makes it even harder for anyone to get close to her, making it even harder to learn the meaning of love and friendship.
Until she meets Serena, a bubbly, full of life teenage girl who Cailynn soon learns has the same type of home life she herself had before dying. She finds herself growing close to the girl, and wanting to help her, in turn helping her find the meaning of friendship without realizing.
Then she meets Harry, a curly haired, green eyed boy who is too cocky for his own good. He is determined to break through Cailynn’s walls, and get her to soften up. Soon, she finds herself becoming less cold hearted, and she slowly starts to love him.
When it is time for her to go back to Heaven, she has to make a choice she never thought she’d make: Life in Heaven or life with Harry.
