The Manager's Spooky Secret

Kairi's Point of View.

I've managed to put a brave face on when Mr Choi came in - fully dressed. I grabbed an Up n Go breakfast drink and shook it like there's no tomorrow. "You gonna drink that?" He said. I stopped shaking the carton and put the straw on the thing. "What's it to you?" I replied as I started to take a sip.

He was about to reply back when he received a text message from someone. I peek at his phone, but he quickly puts it in his pocket. "Thank you again for everything," he said. I took another sip and smiled. "Anytime," I replied.

*few minutes after he left*

I quickly finished my drink before checking my phone for the time.

9:30am

"Great. Just enough time to head to YG HQ,"I said to myself. I quickly search for my summer bag and started to put all the things that I needed to take. "Okay. I've got my wallet, my passport (for ID), all the necessary paperwork for security clearance, phone, headphones, keys......."

I stood thinking what else I needed to take with me when the door from the top cupboard opened. A little tube bottle dropped to the ground. I picked it up and smiled "Of course. My medication to relieve my panic attacks. Thanks Sara."

As I closed the cupboard, Sara appeared and smiled at me. "I hope that your induction will go smoothly today," she said. I was about to reply back when my uber driver arrived. All I could do is smile and I left the house.

*a few minutes later*

I arrived at the YG building with fifteen minutes to spare. I thanked the driver as I exit the car. I took a glance at the building that's standing in front of me and sigh. "WOW!!!!" My eyes lit up like it was Christmas all over again. I ended up walking to the security post. I bowed to the man who is on duty.

"Good morning. I'm here for the induction." The security guy looked up and smiled. "You must be Kairi. Please come through this door so that we can get your security clearance done." I entered the security office and went down to business. It took merely ten minutes to go through all the paperwork.

I exited the office and waited near the security's window. "Right, everything's all in order. Unfortunately your ID badge won't be finished until first thing tomorrow morning." I smiled. "That's okay, I'll be happy to wait."

Right on cue, the door to the building opened and this guy came out. He has short, black hair and is wearing normal clothing. I kind of recognised him as one of the members from this group call Sechskies. "You must be Min Kairi," he asked. I nodded and bowed. "My name is Lee Jai Jin. I'll be stepping in for Yan Hyun Suk as it's his day off today." I nodded.

We went straight to YG's office and got down to business. I've learnt that I'll be managing a kpop group called BigBang. He also advised me that I should be professional at all times. I will also receive two weeks of training - one week with the manager from Winner and one week with the manager from iKON.

We spent an hour and a half going through the induction when we heard a knock at the door. "Come in," Mr Lee responded. The door opened and someone came in. "Hey Jai, I'm here to show the newbie around." He said.

I turned around and my jaw dropped. Mr Lee started to giggle. "You okay Kairi?" I quickly got out of my chair, ran to the person and hugged him. "I am so happy to see you again, Jinhwan." I kissed his forehead and he chuckled a bit.

Mr Lee coughed and we both turned around. "Sorry to interrupt your little reunion. YG asked Jinhwan to show you around as I'll have to take my leave. Welcome to YG Kairi". I bowed him farewell before he left, leaving me and Jinhwan in the room. "Awwww look at you. My little sexy fairy is all grown up," I wiped a fake tear as I smiled. He ended up laughing.

"Yah!! What's taking you so long." I pushed the door open and saw Lee Seunghoon pouting while I was paying attention to the eldest from iKON. "Missed you too, sunbae", I replied. He smiled while we did our secret handshake before hugging him.

Jinhwan's POV

I walked out of our dorm and waited for Seunghoon to pick me up on the way to YG Building. Ten minutes later, it arrived and I jumped on. "Hey Jinhwan. Long time no see", he said smiling. "Same here," I replied. I told him that I had to show one of the newbies around the building since she starts first thing tomorrow morning.

While he said that he's meeting a friend. I looked at him confused. "But I thought you said that you needed to go to the studio." He shrugs. "Oh that..... it's just a diversion."

We ended up talking about Kairi. "When that whole WIN thing finished, I kind of miss her. She always there for all of us back then." I looked out the window. "I wonder what she's doing besides looking after our dorms while we were away."

He chuckled. "Well, she did graduate from college 6 months ago. It was four years of studying hard and passing exams here and there....." I looked at him shocked. "How did you know all this?" He smiled as we arrived outside the building. "Taehyun. Remember??"

We both hopped out of the van and walked towards the building. The security guy greeted us. "Hey guys." We bowed as we entered the building. "Oh Jinhwan?" I stopped halfway. "Just letting you know that Jai Jin's with the new girl in the boss's office." I couldn't help but smile. "Gumawo", i replied and entered the building.

Seunghoon and i were chatting along before we arrived at YG's office. Knowing that our senior will be with the new girl for the induction part. I took a glimpse of the new girl that will be working within the company and i smiled. I knocked on the door and waited for a reply.

"Come in." I entered the office and i saw Kairi - all grown up. She looked so beautiful in that dusty pink dress. "Hey Jai. I'm here to show the newbie around." I was taken aback when she got off her chair and given me the warmest hug i ever had.

She kissed my forehead after telling me how much she misses me and i chuckled. I was about to say something when i heard Jai coughed. After he left, i looked at her and was a bit embarassed when she called me by my nickname. "Noona!!!!" I said while laughing.

Kairi's Point of View.

*one hour later*

"And this is the room where all the dance parctises are done".

I looked in the room and sigh with awe. This was the perfect place for me to have some private time to myself whenever Sara decides to show up. When both Seunghoon and Jinhwan decided to leave the room to answer their phonecall, Sara appeared unexpectedly.

"Wow, this is one big room", she said. "It is. Wait......" I whipped my head around and saw Sara standing next to me. "Sara, what are you doing here?" Sara giggled. "Well, i don't want to miss out on the fun so i popped in to see how you are".

I rolled my eyeballs. "Just go." And she disappeared. "Who were you talking to Noona?" I turned around and saw Jinhwan standing at the door. "No one", i replied. Then i heard a grumble screaming loudly from my stomach. "Don't tell me you haven't had breakfast", Seunghoon said. I kind of giggled. "Kind of."

We arrived at the YG cafeteria and ordered some food. As we were waiting, i can hear a group of guys, talking amongs themselves. I didn't know what they were talking about until i heard my name call out.

"Kairi, is that you?" I yelped and hid behind Jinhwan. He laughed and bowed to the five guys and looked at me. "Don't be shy". I slowly walked beside him. "Guys, this is Min Kairi - our newbie. Kairi, meet the members of BigBang".
