ESME SHIFTED AWKWARDLY in her seat at the breakfast table in which Klaus had compelled to gather his lover and his sister for something to eat. The Browne had picked at the grapes she had carried into a bowl, Rebekah had enjoyed her cup of tea and Klaus had enjoyed his bite into the maid's wrist causing blood to pour in the glass he held under the wound that had caused the drawing of blood. Esme's legs crossed over the other as she enjoyed the sweet taste of the purple grapes whilst trying her best to ignore Klaus' stare as he filled up his glass with blood to prepare him for the day ahead.

The short brunette cleared her throat as the only thing in which had broken their silence was the blood dripping into the glass Klaus had tightly onto. "Haven you spoken to our good friend Marcel today?" Klaus asked in hope that Rebekah had. Esme had wondered when it was due time that Rebekah and Marcel would rekindle their love, and Rebekah would counter when it was du time for Esme and Klaus to do the same. It led to Esme avoided asking Rebekah that question and only being around during the time where she figured it'd be the best to leave.

Rebekah had pulled her mug from her lips as her brows furrowed at her older brother who suspected communication between the blonde and the Gerard. "No. Should I have?"

"Well, he's been mysteriously silent, avoiding me, some might say." Esme sighed as she gripped onto her mimosa sitting within the wine glass. "I thought, perhaps, he may have whispered reason into your ear. Along with all of those sweet nothings."

As Klaus finished filling his class, Rebekah knew to reply to the assumption that she was talking to Marcel. "If I see him, I'll be sure to ask if he's still sore at you."

Klaus studied his sister who was filled with anger with the fact that her brother had bitten into Elijah's neck and left not only him but Hayley out in the Bayou at such a worse time. "Let me give a voice to that look in your eyes." He told knowing that she wasn't so pleased with him as a glare carried on her face. "My saintly, noble brother lies writing in agony in the Bayou, victim of my bastard brother's bite when just one or two drops of his blood could ease his pain."

"On the contrary, Nik." Rebekah objected. "I am simply enjoying my brekkie, waiting for Elijah's healthy return." She smiled.

"Oh, come on, Rebekah." Klaus groaned as he leant forward within his seat. "You've been giving me the devil's eye all morning. Out with it."

"Perhaps I'm concerned that if I voice my opinion about what you did to Elijah, I will end up on the wrong side of your taxi hybrid teeth." Rebekah admitted causing Klaus' hand to slam against the table as he knew he would never, ever, bite into his sister's neck and cause her pain that he caused his brother.

"Poppycock." Klaus pointed towards his sister. "I would never bite you."

Esme let out a faint chuckle as she pulled the mimosa away from her lips. "No, you'd dagger her." She corrected.
