(I'll be honest first one cringed me out it was such a blind write this one is better)

Just because you were a little intimidated by him and hated him a little was bull you've been working yourself to the bone. Picking up extra chores, helping the others with theirs, and doing all that to distract yourself from him. You actually deep down liked him and believe it or not he noticed and discovered it was true when he saw you carving something into a tree and went to inspect it for himself. That tree engraving said it all to him he had Troy and Bonnie make you rest for awhile so when he spoke to you he'd have your full attention to tell you how he feels. And today you were doing your normal chores helping Bonnie take inventory then to the green houses to help Reg. You ignored Carver's voice on the intercom and focused Bonnie noticed you tensing up "Y/N? Hey relax there's nothing to be tense about..." You sigh. "I'm fine Bonnie I'm not tense..." "Bullshit" she blurts out you snap your head to her "how so?" She scoffs "it's dam obvious you like Carver Y/N...hell even he's noticed himself apparently you carved a little something in a tree" You glare at her she smirks "i hear ya at night mutterin his name in your sleep hun". You stiffen "i-its a nightmare when that happens..." She rolls her eyes "suuure it is Y/N...but were about done if you want to move on to the greenhouses" you nod "best get to Reg soon so Carver doesn't get on his ass again..." She laughs "after last week cause Mike didn't get there on time, good call Y/N" you laugh too and head to Reg already up there. "Y/N! Great, Carver would have killed me if i was the only one up here...." You groaned "another inspection? As long as nothing is green aside from the greens we should be fine..." He nods "totally, how're you feeling anyways?".

You sigh "a lot better, well rested that's for sure" he smiles "good to know, hey most of the tomatoes are good to go should i still leave on the greenish ones? Or toss them?" You laugh. "Carver would be on your ass if you tossed them best to leave them" Reg stiffens "well now why would i do that to ol Reggie?" You stiffen and slowly turn around "uhm i-it was just a joke sir..." He nods. "But you now i do need a moment with" you sigh "can't, I'm helping Reggie he's a little impared..." Wyatt and Mike appear "they're gonna help Reggie now darlin you really should come with me..." He grabs your wrist pulling you through the warehouse to the office "you can let go of me now..." He does so. "Y/N i want to know the truth about why you were working yourself to death" you sigh "to keep my mind away from the world outside..." He nods "alright fair enough, but you were dyin in a sense you really had me worried you're still so young and shouldn't be working to death like that" you look to the side "i guess i just needed to really get my mind off you..." You stiffened meaning to like and say the world. He looks to you with a brow raised "off me? So the tree carving said it all..." You look up "you saw that?! I was totally alone!" He chuckles "binoculars sweetheart...i do have to admit i have developed a liking for you as well..." You quickly move to a window of the office. "No one was ever supposed to see that, you are a terrifying man if provoked and honestly scare me on the inside..." He feels a stab in the heart "not always, if you were in my life more i would never want you to be afraid of me... I'd never lay a firm hand on you" you stiffen as his hand is on your arm for comfort his other hand on your hip. "N-no! We can't do this..." You pull away from him "we can't be together..." He looks hurt "why not? I swear on my life i will treat you like the queen you are to me" "C-carver we can't...we just can't" you go to the door reaching for the handle till Carver grabs your wrist and turns you around.

"Please let go..." you whisper he lifts your chin giving you a soft kiss you freeze mentally not knowing what you should do he nips at your bottom lip you give off a squeak. This causes him to chuckle "i got a squeaky toy now?" You glare and playfully hit him "just surprised me is all..." He rolls his eyes and goes to kiss you again and gladly you close the distance between you two. Nipping at your lip again you don't give him the access he wants that he craves he pulls you close and slides his hands down your sides and lets them rest on your hips. You press yourself closer to him his warmth is comforting you smile into the kiss and nip at his lip he lets you explore his mouth but of course he takes over with a bit more hunger in his act. Giving a soft moan and wrapping your arms around his neck as he wraps his around your waist he pulls away for air shortly after. "Y/N i swear if heaven was personified she'd be you..." You blush a little "thanks Carver...that means a lot to me" he smiles and nods leaning back it you seal the distance and kiss lovingly for awhile until you hear a gasp. Quickly you two pull away to see Carlos averting his eyes "i am so sorry but they're survivors outside the gate and they wanted to speak with the one in charge" Carver sighs "alright I'll be there in a minute..." Carlos nods and leaves. You laugh "well the whole warehouse is about to know what just happened" you wrap your arms around him and snuggle up into him he smiles and wraps an arm around you "I'd love to darlin but i need to see what this is about with those survivors..." You sigh and pull away. "Fiiine..." He chuckles "don't be like that, when i get back we'll continue our little moment...go ahead and relax on the bed" he leans down and kisses you causing you to smile "alright..." You sway over to the bed and collapse onto it. He rolls his eyes with a smile "i love you Y/N darlin" you look up "i love you too Carver" he smiles again and leaves you missed him already wishing he'd hurry back.
