taken back by what namjoon had said, hoseok looked at him, perplexed. he stood up, dusting himself off, looking down at namjoon.

"well, wouldn't you want it more if the person you like touches you?"

"huh? that...that depends on the person! I'm not that eager!"

"really? who was the annoying kid who kept begging me to date him!" hoseok growls, pinching namjoon's cheeks.

"if i didn't say that i liked you, how could i convey the message?!"

namjoon clenched his fists, his eyes closed and pouting like a child. with a sarcastic chuckle, hoseok couldn't help but bend down to namjoon's level and pinch his cheeks again. 

"huh? what do you mean, it's just me, dumbass! there's nothing special about me!" hoseok chuckled, watching namjoon wince in pain because of the redhead pinching the boy's cheeks. 

opening his eyes and looking at hoseok, namjoon cutely frowned, grabbing hoseok's hands and pushing them off. namjoon angrily pouted, eyebrows furrowing at hoseok. 

"there's many great things about you hoseok! you're talented, everyone loves you, you're the mvp on our team for crying out loud! you mouth always forms a heart shape whenever you smile, you're a walking ball of sunshine!" 

with hoseok's hands still grasped by namjoon, he couldn't help but feel his heart skip a beat, pink dusting his cheeks as well. he watched as namjoon's frown turn into a sad smile. 

"but...i'm not really allowed to say those things, right?" namjoon laughs,  letting go of hoseok and standing up. 

"well, let's find somewhere to eat! hurry up i'm hungry!" namjoon yells, starting to walk away. 

hoseok, who was still crouched on the ground, he felt his heart beating and he didn't know why 

"i rejected him, i don't like him."
