~Amara~
I woke up the next morning, the sunlight shone through my window. My cat rubbed up against my leg and purred. "My the gods be with you as well Whitikins." I rubbed his head gently and he layed down. "Sorry Whitikins, but it is time for me to wake up." The cat looked at me sadly, laying its head back down. "Sorry." I mumbled sleepily, walking to my wardrobe. I pulled out a pink dress with frilly rims and slipped it on. I heard a loud knock on the door as I slipped the dress on. "Good morning you majesty! It's time to get up." Mayla said, walking into my room. "Mayla!! Is my prince here yet?!" I jumped up and down excitedly. I could hear her sigh sadly, as she answered my question. "Amara. Your mother has already said that you can't get married yet." I frowned, looking at the door angrily. "He'll be here, and I'll get married. You'll see!" I huffed angrily, clenching my fists. I put some shoes on and stomped over to the door. I opened it. "I'm awake Mayla. You can leave now." She fixed the bandanna that was holding her hair back, her arms taught. "Your mother wanted to see you, come with me." She smiled at me as I groaned. "What is it that you think she wants now?!" I slouched over and started to follow Mayla. She walked down the corridor quite quickly, I had to almost jog to keep up. The servant walked past all of the end tables and fancy pictures that covered the walls. I had seen them all before, but they captivated me everytime. We it made it to the thrown room and Mayla moved aside, allowing me to walk in. "You aren't going in?" I raised an eyebrow at her and she smiled nervously. "No y-your majesty. Your mother wanted to speak to you alone." I groaned and looked at her. "Are you kidding me? You've got to be!'' I put my hands on my hips, my nails digging into them. "I would never kid on such a serious m-matter.'' Mayla frowned, abviously annoyed by the dilemma. "Your majesty please, your mother wishes to speak with you." Mayla smiled hurriedly, walking away to avoid further confrontation. I frowned gently, opening the large door, and trying not to stomp. "hello mother, I have arrived!" I said sarcastically. "Amara. finally, you have arrived." she said, her makeup streaming down her face. "Child, please come here." I heard her breath hitch, as if she had been crying.  "M-mother? Are you alright?" She attempted a smile, but it was weak, and fake. "I'm sorry child, but I have decided that you need to.... leave the kingdom for a while." She sniffed and fanned her eyes. "Wh-what do you m-mean mother?" I asked, feeling my whole body shake in fear. "I have decided that you will be held in an old tower until you are of the age in which you can be married." She said, making me shiver. "N-no!!! You can't make me!! I'm royalty too!!" I screamed trying to back away from my mother. "Guards!!" Mother screamed, as two large hairy men in the royal colours ran to me. I felt their large muscular arms wrap around my waist as I kicked and screamed. "I-I'm so sorry Amara, my baby girl." I heard my mother whisper, as one of the guards hit me over the head, knocking me unconscious.
