one day everything changed

Prologue

*in school*
I gave him chocolates and a love letter to let him know that im in love with him, yes im in love with a guy whom we never talk or interact but I loved him in every way, I sound like a stalker but I just want to let my feelings out cause it's been getting out of hand.
we met in elementary school, he was a douche and an asshole back then but he changed during middle school he became nice and sweet so I started liking him (I was very naive and stupid)

"i-i bought this chocolate for you... I even wrote you a letter about m-my feelings for you.." I looked down and started to fidget my fingers.
"o-oh.. u-uhm thanks?" he scratched his head and there was an awkward silence.
"bu-" I stopped him before he said anything.
"im not asking you to go out with me, I'm just confessing you about my feelings cause it's getting out of hand," I said still looking down but seconds later I looked up and stared at him.
it was just us in an empty classroom and the windows open which made the cold breeze go in the room.
"I know, you don't like me but the way you stare at me and the way you smile makes me have butterflies in my stomach" I started to ramble.
he just stared at me blankly thinking im an idiot.
"so, don't tell anyone about this, please?" I told him and he nodded.

I thought everything went well.

but boy I was wrong

reality is always there to crush your fantasies.

but I didn't care at that time because I was a naive young girl and I didn't care about reality.
