Chapter 35

"Ready for the meeting?" Harry asked me.

"Haz" I sighed "can you help me with my shoes on?" I laughed.

"Sure" he came out of the bathroom as he put my shoes on my feet "better?"

"Yes thank you babe and yes I'm ready" I smiled as he helped me up "I'm really nervous"

"Why Jasmine?"

"Because these are your people and they weren't the best when you were in the band"

"They're better now"

We got in a jet plane to LA. Harry drove us to meeting. Bradford was there along with Ben who Harry works with along with a few people who I don't know.

"Thanks for coming Harry and Jasmine"

"Of course" I nodded.

"So Harry told me you want to keep the pregnancy and the baby a secret"

"Yes for now" I nodded "but I also don't want to stop working but I'm afraid if I do something people will leak it to a magazine or whatever"

"That's understandable"

"So we are going to sign you on Harry's management, you can trust these people. We will have you working and no one will know"

"So Brad won't be my manager anymore?"

"No, matter of fact Harry will be in control of your career"

I laughed "I'm sorry what?" I asked him.

I looked at Harry who didn't say anything just looked away.

"Listen to me Ben, I know you've worked with Harry for years and I'm just starting out. But I am 24 years old! I know what I want and I will work for it so my fiancé will not be in control of my career. I don't mind him being a consultant but I trust his opinion more than anything but I will be in control of my career" I sat back.

"Alright Jasmine, you'll be in control. So we already know you have a few things in the work"

"Yes, I have stuff just waiting to come out which I'm sure Brad handed over to you guys"

"Yes he did, now how would you feel about recording an album"

"Wow I would love that"

"Alright great so there isn't a rush with that but it will give you something to do. We have trusted producers and assistants and everyone really"

"Okay great now what happens if someone takes a picture or leaks something?"

"They will be fired immediately and we will make sure we get rid of the issue before it comes too late"

"Good now I want to have a photo shoots, I want a pregnancy photo shoot alone then one with Harry and I want to have a shoot with Harry after the baby is born"

"Done just let us know when you want it"

I smirked "I like you guys, now my feet are killing me so" I looked at Harry.

"We're going to go, thanks for this Ben and everyone"

We got in the car and decided to stay in LA for the day. So we went back to his LA house.

"Babe?" Harry asked me.

"I can't believe they wanted you in control my career Harry! Did you tell them you wanted to?"

"No no but they trust me and they thought you would over anyone else"

"I do but it's my career Harry! Not yours, mine! I will decide what's best for it"
