Los Angeles Film Academy.
I've been dreaming of going to this school for years and now I'm finally here. We pulled in the driveway of the large building. I got out of the car and stared at the building in awe. I couldn't believe I was finally here and going to finally pursue my career in acting. "Close your mouth or you'll catch flies," I heard Emily say with a laugh. I closed my mouth quickly and I made my way toward the entrance of the building. "You excited Em?" I asked her with a smile. But she didn't answer. Is she not going inside? I turned around to see her on the cold ground. I ran up to her and shook her body. She wouldn't wake up. "Emily! Em!!," I screamed. I gently pressed my hand against her chest to feel her heatbeat and it was fine. But what was wrong?! I was so scared. "Someone help!!," I yelled knowing that nobody would probably hear me. What do I do? What do I do?!? I began to cry cause I had no idea what could of caused her to collapse. We have been on the road lately and she hasn't gotten sleep in a couple nights. Sleep depravation? Oh god.
I tried lifting up her body but it was useless. I was pretty tired too and it was kinda difficult.
"You need help?"
My heart stopped. I immediately turned to the person who spoke. It was a guy around the same age range as me. Most likely a student here. I'm not gonna lie, He was pretty handsome. I nodded. The guy looked at me and then back at Em, who still unconscious. He slowly walked over to us and knelt down. "What happened?" he asked picking her up bridal style, like she was a feather. "S-She fainted," I said sniffling. I wiped my cheeks from the tears that were streaming down my cheeks just a few minutes ago. We got inside of the breathtaking building. The inside was very cold and it smelt like a mix of vanilla and sweat.
He lead me to an elevator, still holding Emily. "Could you press the 3rd floor button for me please?" I nodded and did what asked. "Do you what could of caused this?" He asked with concern in his voice. "Sleep depravation. We've been on the road for a couple days and she's been driving the whole time. She hasn't been getting any sleep really," I said.
"Wow," He said. Before I could say anything else, the elevator doors opened and He lead me to his dorm room. Number 313. "Could you knock on the door for me please?" He asked. I sighed and did what he asked. Again. The door slowly opened. Revealing a very familar face. "Ansel?" I whispered.
