Moving on

How do you move on from the past

From the love that never last

From the place you called home

The place you thought you be known

Or from that boy who had your heart

That you loved and thought you’d never part

Or from the one you called your own

But had to put down under a gravestone

Do you just stay in that one lonely spot

Or do you reminisce about the things that used to be but are now not

Do you cry until there are no more tears left

Til you’ve had your very last breath

Or do you take that broken shattered heart

And pick up the pieces that fell apart

Even though you might have fallen down

You have to get back up and rise from the ground

And soar high above

And never forget that love

Moving on doesn’t mean that you forget

Or ever ever regret

Because hard times are just there to make you stronger

And able to last longer

So just get that broken shattered heart

And mend it back to that once beautiful art

Take away all the bad emotions

And throw them to the oceans

Because life’s too short too be bitter and cold

So fix it now because you might regret it once your old
