Another Life Out There

Chapter 1

When I was younger, my home was like an adventure. My house seemed so big to me at the time. I found so many different rooms that I've never seen before and the servants let me go through the servent's passage way. I went on so many little adventures. And sometimes the servents would put little prizes in secret hiding places which then made my adventures into exciting treasure hunts. What more fun could I ask for! 

Then when I turned 16 all of it changed. Going on little adventures was not as fun. It was like doing the same thing over and over again. To me, my life became a lot duller. And I never found the time to do anything exciting anymore. My days were always the same to me now.

Basically, I would wake up, eat breakfast, have my private school lessons, eat lunch, practice my painting, read, have dinner, walk in the gardens, read more, then go to bed.

My parents had my whole life now under control. I did whatever they wanted me to do. Every second planned perfectly from a snap of their fingers. Everything I ended up doing was all planned by them.  

Well now I am 19 and today is the day I will finally leave this governed house. I have packed my bags with books, clothes, cleansing items, a journal, a pen and pencil, and a camera. I decided to travel with my aunt for the summer. It shall be exciting. My aunt has been in more places you can't even imagine! 

We will be going to France, England, and hopefully we'll be able to go to Africa! The first place will be England. My dad is from England and so is my aunt, who is of course my dad's sister.

Starting tomorrow, I finally get to live! I wish I could leave now, but the flight isn't till dawn. I have been waiting for the sun to peak through the horizon. Just sitting out on my windowsill, looking up at the stars and imagining what the world might be like. Will it be like the places I've read in my books? Or will it be something completely different? Oh, I hope it is wonderful! I hope it is everything I have dreamed of! I can't wait for my life adventure to finally begin!
