I give up. Sighing, I bent down to her ear level.

(Y/N)'s POV:
I let out a sigh as a cool breeze passes by me, as I attempted to muster up more lyrics in my mind. As I continued to skip through thoughts, my brain drifted back to detention, then the walk to detention and finally, Natsu. Damn. I forgot about that... God, even the thought of his smile makes me turn into a damned tomato.

"Aish..I cant even control my blush when I'm thinking of him, how can I contain myself when I'm with him.." I mumbled, tapping my thumbs together.

A sudden chuckle escapes me as I recall what we've been through together.

I slung my bag over my shoulder, ready to go home, snack and watch any good movie on Netflix or somethin, I'm not sure yet.

"Hey, (Y/N)! Wait up!!" I hear his cheerful voice call as I spun around to greet him, Gray and Gajeel smirking behind Nastu as he ran towards me.

"Yes?" I smiled, pushing hair back out my face.

Suddenly, his warm hand grabbed mine pulling them out into a cup shape in front of me, as if I was begging for something.

He then placed a small piano music box in my hands, it was white with a couple coloured flowers painted on the corners for an elegant finish...and looked awfully expensive. I looked up at him, my [E/C] eyes meeting his onyx ones.

"Who's it for?" Well, we both know it's not me, right, reader- -

"You, you idiot!" He grinned, pulling out a small box, presumably for the music box. My eyes glanced at the price...oHhHhH nOoOoO! THaTs tOo DaMn ExPeNsivE!!

"For me? Why? No money should be spent for me" l laughed nervously, too scared to sweat on it or something.

"It's for you, to celebrate you coming into our friend group!" He laughed, scratching the back of his head. "But also to celebrate you actually socialising for once!"

"hEY!!" I pouted, smacking him on the shoulder, "I socialise.."

Our eyes met once again. That's when it happened.

Ba-damp...

Ba-dump..

Ba-dump..

My heart began to race and I felt my cheeks heat up. Good lord...

I smiled to myself once again, running my hands through my hair. I wonder what he's doing now..what's he thinking about...what does he think about me...gAH!

sorry for not updating since like, 1776 but! ive been slowly developing storylines/arcs so that im not just winging my stories. lmao yes, i know im irrelevant now. but yeah, ive stopped focusing on my writing to improve my maths and science skills for school, so sorry for this sucky chapter!
