Daniel's [P.O.V.]
"The person you're calling is not, available so please leave your message after the tone"... the operator spoke from the other end of the line.
I've been trying to get Marissa for the past two hours now. I could see why her phone went to answering machine because it was fairly late now to be precise the time now was one thirty-five.
I was still up trying to complete some paper works I had in my study, but I needed to tell Marissa that there's been a change of plan with mom's wedding, it wasn't next week again we need to be in New York City by Monday. I had received a phone call from my eccentric mother Teresa earlier this evening, but I still could try her number in the morning though.
I sigh as I lean back into my leather desk chair in my study, the paper works were yet to be completed to at least I had complete some. I close my eyes as I remember the successful interview with Marissa earlier, she was fit for the job, she also fitted the family's criteria too, she was totally different from the other young ladies I've interviewed before today.
Marissa, was so calm, quiet,manner-sly and intelligent she was also generous too, I smile as I remember her signing the contract. As I said I will try her number again in the morning.
