The night Kyoko basically kidnapped me had passed. Three days later, he had curled more of my hair and I loved it. I kept feeling the curls writhe on my head. They had turned beautifully silver like.
I had been hanging out with Kyoko more and more lately. So far he had taken me to the movies, to the park, and gave me a sculpture of a butterfly. I think I'm falling for him.
Monday 6:30 A.M.
It's time for a new week at school. I looked in the mirror but somehow my hair was fully curled and they were writhing and twisting. I saw a pair of sunglasses on my desk with a note. Wear these so you don't hurt anyone. I'll explain everything after second block. - Kyoko. I looked at the glasses but something was wrong. My vision was distorted somehow. like nothing was clear. I put on the glasses like the note said and next thing I know, I see perfectly fine. I wore the glasses through school like the note said. After second block I waited for Kyoko at the entrance to the lunch room. He walked up and had a grave look on his shaded face. Compared to looking at him and other people, they were all in vibrant oranges and reds. He was just grey. He took my hand and led me to his house again.
Once we walked through the door he stopped and sank to his knees. I walked over to him and looked over his shoulder. "Kyoko?" I called out. He was shaking and asked if I looked at anybody without the glasses."No." I said. He nodded, stood and turned towards me. "What's wrong Kyoko." "You know that story of Medusa?"
"Yes."
"What would you do if you meet a Gorgon?"
"I might run." He nodded looked at me and stood very still. The one thing that did move was his hair. It made small hissing noises and writhed and tangled. I gasped in shock and felt my hair. "What did you do to me!?"
