Chapter 6: Hate runs deep

Tae's POV

Tae's nerves started to settle down once they got to their private room, but all the members still wanted him to rest and take his time. Tae insisted on going and everyone had no choice but to cave in.

Tae was seated right in the middle of the 6 members with Jk on one side and Yoongi on the other. Tae started to relax as the environment uplifted his tensions, there were still many questions regarding his health, but it was out of sheer concern so it warmed Tae's heart even more. 

As the line moved, a girl came upto Tae's position.

"Hi! whats your name?" Tae said showing his boxy smiles.

The girl mumbled something that Tae could not understand.

"You know you will have to speak louder for me to hear..." Tae said encouragingly

The girl did look up, but instead of shyness Tae saw a flash of anger. 

"You can't even remember my name...this is why..." the girl said, a bit louder this time. It took Tae by surprise to say the least.

"Umm...I really am sorry, but you are wearing a mask too, so if you took it down maybe then I will better able to recognize you, but how about you introduce yourself again...han?" Tae said in hopes of calming the girl down. He cutely tilted his head and lowered it to be able to match the level of her eyes. 

They were unwavered, eyes screaming hostility. It sent shivers down Tae's spine. He gulped loudly and in alarm reached out to JK. As he did the girl immediately moved onto Yoongi to his other side. 

"hey...you okay?" JK asked full of worry.

"yeah...I think...yeah, its fine..." Tae gave him a half smile thinking he was probably overreacting in his current state. Tae kept an eye on the girl as she moved along the line and was about to take a sigh of relief when she was at the last member, Jin.

Whoever right after she was about to move along a whizzing sound along with a bang rang in the hall! Thick smoke started to rise near Jin and various other places in the hall causing utter chaos and a stampede situation as confused and terrified fans started to run towards the exit. Some were trying to get to their beloved idols to make sure of their safety , but of course were unable to do so as guards flooded in to cover and take BTS out of danger.

Tae could barely see anything left or right as his eyes teared up and the smoke started choking his breathing. He desperately reached out to JK, noticing a blurred figure hunched, it seemed like the figure kept moving away as he reached, until there was nothing but darkness.

JK's POV

JK tried to fight his failing senses to make sure Tae was okay. He swiped his arms trying to locate Tae while his breath hitched making him move extra slowly. He could make out a figure trying to reach to him, JK knew it was Tae. He slowly started to move towards Tae with all the strength he could muster, and then he saw the blurred figure drop out of his vision sending panic through his mind.

"Tae TAE...Taehyung" JK started screaming at top of his voice, but his voice and his eyesight was failing him and his knees buckled, making him fall on his knees. As he did, he could see Tae on the floor unconscious. He tried to move but he felt strong hands pulling him away from Tae and JK started to fight for release to go back to Tae. Tears started to fall as his own vision blurred and he fell into the darkness himself.

RM's POV

RM looked frantically around, he could see the smoke rising rapidly but could not comprehend what was happening or what he should do. On instinct he started moving towards his members to get them out. Jin was the closest to one of the origins of the smoke and it seemed to have engulfed him completely, blocking him from sight. Jimin stumbled and was half dragging Yoongi. RM was about to make his way to the maknae and second youngest when he felt a pair of strong arms hold him and shove him away towards the exit. RM turned to see one of the guards making his way towards Tae and JK. RM was once again pushed towards the exit by the other guards, and he was only able to look over his shoulder to see Tae, JK and Jin being carried out.
