It's a week later and Alhamdullillah Farida will be going to school for her 3rd term Examination.
"Mams I am ready for school" " Do you think they will allow you write this exams because you see we still didnt the balance of your school fee" " Don't bother just wish me luck" " OK please avoid talking to boys on the street, Protect your self OK" " Thanks Mams" "Wait when will you be through with the examination "" in a week time" " OK once you are through I will be taking you to Alhajji Kabiru house, his sons passing out parade will be within this week and he will be leaving Kaduna immediately afterl" "OK Mams,  I gotta go now take care"

" I just don't know what beast is scaring me off each day I approach this school gate,  oh gosh I so hate school,  Summaya is so lucky to,  so by next week she will be in her husband home " Farida kept talking to her self until Hamrah approached her"  there you are,  the principal wants to see you in his office before the examination ""  I hope all is well,  any way don't bother I will go see him now,  pls save a sit for me in the exams hall close to yours pls ok "" OK farida " Farida finds her way to the principal office  where she met the secretary at the first parlour which is his office"  is the principal alone  " the  secretary pretend he didn't hear her,  while she repeated her self again" you are not wearing uniform,  which is why you don't have to greet me ""  Good morning I came to see the principal,  He send for me ""  Go in,  he is alone "  she entered the next parlour which belongs to the principal "  Good morning Sir,  I am Farida Rayyan  from Ss1" " Good morning,  Sit down"  the principal offered Farida a sit which means it's a long time discussion,  but what of the exams she is having in the next 15 minutes,  anyway he is the principal and he knows better that she has an exam to write  " Farida Rayyan,  I called you for certain reasons,  Pls I am sorry but you won't be writing your exams unless you settle your fees,  you see I wish I can do Something to help but It's a 2 term school fees and it is causing lots of problems to our teachers,  we have to do this if not your parents won't pay,  besides you are the only student in your class with that problem and I don't know why,  please get your Stuffs and forget about writing the Exams " thank you sir "  that was all she said and left the office and the whole school as well.
  
"Assalamu Alaikum "   "  why are you back Riri" " It's school fees issue,  finally  they threw me out of the school"  my dear I am sorry,  I wish I can do something,  you know neither I nor your mother have the guts to meet your Father on anything concerning you "" Pls Mams let's not talk about this,  I have more important things to talk about ,  you see Anwar said he will be coming for the formal introduction next 2 weeks,  and you are also  confusing my head with the new arrangements you making with Alhajji Kabiru's son " " That is not a problem my dear"  " But he also said they will also fix the Wedding date at the same time,  and he wants it to be in two months time,  I told him I have financial issues but he said that won't be a problem,  He will be giving his elder sister the money to buy wedding stuffs needed from his side,  He will also Assist with everything needed from my side,  The entertainment money,  aseobi and everything ""  oh that is great news my dear,  that still won't stop us from Going to Alhajji Kabiru house,  you see I can Dissapoint this Man,  so far he have been assisting me financial all in you  name" " Subhanallah Grandma did just say in my name,  haba Mams haba,  this is as good as selling me off"  " are you trying to shout at me,  ehn I'd I didn't do that how do you think you are going to eat in this house,  or when your mother left you all for me,  did she keep any bag of rice,  or is your father willing to look at your face,  See what you have is what you use,  and you are what I have,  better shut your childish mouth and suit your self into the comfortable life I am trying to get you,  Forget about school,  you are writing your SSCE in your husband's house from now no school for you.  Or did I tell you I have a problem with Anwar,  I like Anwar as well but we Have to go see Alhajji Kabiru son,  if you like pray he doesn't like you ,  but going there is a must and you will dress best to bring out the Queen in you " " Hmmmm" Farida sighed not wanting to utter a word seeing how serious her grandmother is,  she is glad She has two options,  at least no body is forcing her into marriage,  she loves to get married and Alhamdullillah everything is going well to her plans.
