Chapter 17-Jealousy and unexpected kisses

Alexis's P.O.V.

After having to explain to the girls everything that had happened in the past week,I was almost in tears again from all the drama.

"Oh,sweetie." The three pulled me in for a hug,as I softly cried in their shoulder. "Why are you crying?" Dani asked once she heard me sniffled. "I-I..." I didn't know whether to say why,but decided to anyway.

"I...I think I love him."

They stayed silent for a moment,before squealing,pulling me up and jumping on the bed.

"Why are you jumping?" I asked through my laughs. "Cause your in love.Technically you are my daughter,and there is nothing that a mother wants more than to hear her daughter say she's in love with a boy." Eleanor explained.

"Okay,but I still don't know what to do about Luke.He's dating my enemy,how can I compete with Alison?"

"Girl,what do you mean compete? You are so ,much better than her on so many levels." Perrie complemented.I felt a blush form on my cheeks,as I shook it off quickly.

"Thanks,but seriously,what do I do?" Another silence fell upon us,as the three girls thought of some sort of plan.A few seconds past before Dani's face lit up.

"You got something?" She nodded. "Well,I'm usually against trying to purposely make someone jealous,but you know about your crush from school?"

"Cody,yeah."

"So,what you can do-with the boys permission of course-is say that Cody is your boyfriend.If Luke really likes you,he'll get jealous and hopefully break up with Alison." She finished with a proud smile.

The grin on my face grew,as I threw my arms around the curly haired brunette.

"Oh my gosh,Dani that's a great idea!" The other two laughed. "So,do you think you can ask Cody to do that for you?" El asked.

I nodded,shrugging at the same time. "I'm sure he won't mind."

Next morning...

I woke up instantly when my alarm went off.I guess you could say I was more than ready go along with my plan.

After the girls had left yesterday,I called Cody(he gave me his number for some reason) and explained the plan and why we had to do it,and surprisingly he said he would love to do it.Once that was done,I had to practically beg the boys,to let me go along with it.

At first they said no,but then when I started to fake cry(quite convincingly if I do say so myself) the gave in,me hugging them which before running up stairs,not giving them a chance to protest.

Once I had done my usual morning routine,I put on my black batman t-shirt,a pair of light washed high wasted shorts,my black and purple sneaker boots,and messily pulled my hair into a side braid.

I quickly scarfed down a banana,and ran out the house,my skateboard in hand.Yes,I have a skateboard.Niall gave it to me for christmas,he's also been giving me lessons,so I know my way to the supermarket,school and a few other places.

When I arrived at school,I rushed to put my skateboard in my locker and walked over to Cody's(which was a few from mine),him noticing me right away.

"Sup,girlfriend." He said in a joking manner. "Sup,boyfriend." The two of us laughed.

"Okay,so how is this 'plan' gonna work?" He asked after we had calmed down.

"Well,we don't have to act like it here in school,unless Alison,or any of her crew are around.But anyway,after school you are gonna come over to my house,I'll introduce you as my boyfriend,and say that were working on a project." I explained,Cody nodding his head through the process.

"Do I get to kiss you?" I was a bit-okay a lot taken aback by the question,a blush creeping to my cheeks,and a nervous laugh escaping my lips.

"If we have to go that far then yes,if he breaks up with her fast then maybe not." He just nodded again.

"So,I think we should try this plan out right now.Shall I walk you to class?" He said in a posh manner,making me giggle. "Oh we shall,good sir."

We locked arms-like the retards we are-and laughed,walking to our home room.

"Are you sure your the boys are okay with this?"

We were currently standing in front of the front door,me trying to calm Cody's nerves. "Yes,for the millionth time,I asked them yesterday,there perfectly fine with the idea."

Cody nervously nodded,before hiding it with his signature smile,me already unlocking the door.

As we walked in the boys were on the couch,not bothering to look up from their phones. "Guys," They still wouldn't look at us.

"This is Cody,my boyfriend." At the sound of the word,boyfriend,all nine heads shot up at the sane time.

The four of them had a different expression.The five tensed up,but quickly relaxed,remembering the plan.Ashton looked confused,looking from me,to Cody,to Luke.Michael looked like he had no idea what was going on,and Calum was looking at Luke,who's nostrils were flaring,and was obviously tense.

"Oh,Cody.Alexis told us about you." Louis put on his best smile,acting like he was perfectly fine with me having a boyfriend.

One by one the nine came up and shook his hand.When Luke came up,Cody winced,his knuckles turning white from how hard Luke was shaking his hand.

I gave a hard glare to Luke,making him release his hand. "Well,we'll be in my room.Do you guys mind if Cody stays for dinner?"

"No of course not.Cody you can stay as long as you want." Liam said.Luke honestly looked like he was about to burst into flames,making he mentally high five myself.

The plan is working.

We both,sprinted up the stairs,me leading him to my room.Once I had closed my door,the two of us bursted into a fit of laughter.

"D-did you se-e his face?!" He asked.I nodded,not being able to use my voice. "I know,he's already jealous." I tried to keep as quiet as I could.

We just talked about random things for 20 minutes until I could smell the food from the kitchen. "I'm gonna go get Lex,and Cody." I heard the voice I recocnised as Luke's come from the bottom of the stairs.

"Okay I know I said we would only do this if we had to but you have to kiss me." I said in one breath,my heart racing faster as in heard his heavy footsteps get closer to the door.

Without hesitation,Cody pulled me on the bed and crashed his lips to mine,at the same time the door opened.

We pretended to not here the door until Luke loudly cleared his throat,me and Cody pulling away,our faces flushed.

"Uh..dinners ready." He said quickly,before slamming the door and running back down.We stood in an awkward silence,not knowing what to say.

"We should..uh..ya know..." I gestured to the door. "Erm...yeah." He nodded.

Then we rushed downstairs,preparing for an awkward dinner.
