Andy smiled as he walked into the station seeing his lover in the cell he locked himself into last night. Andy knocked on the cell door chuckling as Barney jumped awake falling out of the bed. "Wha..? Who's there?" "Is just me babe." Barney stumbled and stuttered red as a tamato going over to the cell doors. Andy grabbed Barney's shirt kissing him through the bars making Barney calm down kissing back. Barney smiled pulling away. "Can I get outta here now my love?" Andy nodded pecking Barney's lips again unlocking the cell door opening it. Barney stepped out hugging Andy. "Are the plans made?" Andy hummed a yes kissing the top of Barney's head. They heard the door start to open pushing away from each other going away from each other. It was a government man. "Is Andy Griffin here?" "That would be me sir I am Andy Griffin?" "Good I'm here to investigate your affair with Barney." Barney gave Andy a look tearing up. Andy smiled at Barney nodding. "Im sorry I'm going out of town for a week a replacement will be here this afternoon and Barney here is leaving as well on vacation with his family." "Alright." The government man asked to use the phone calling someone as Andy and Barney went to the back. "It's alright when the replacements get here we'll leave and never come back." Andy whispered kissing Barney. They walked out one after the other 5 minutes after each other and the replacements were there. Andy smiled grabbing his bags. "Welp Jeremy have fun." Jeremy smiled and waved bye at the two sitting at the desk. Andy and Barney got into their own cars driving in separate ways but once they got far enough away Barney went down a road meeting up with Andy hiding his car getting in with Andy leaving holding Andy's hand. "I love you Andy so much." "I love you too Barn." Barney blushed looking out the window crying. "Babe are you crying?" "I'm sorry but what about Op and Aunt B?" "I just they don't understand I love you." Barney gasped looking at a beautiful cabin in the woods.

The government guy waited with his other government people when a woman walked in. "Mr. White I know we're they are hiding." Mr. White smirked. "Take me to them." The woman nodded smiling a evil smile.

Andy held Barney close kissing him once more as they cuddled. The door slammed open and people ran in and grabbed them. "NO LET US GO!" Andy screamed trying to get to Barney who they were beating at the moment (TRIGGER WARNING SLANG) "Shut up fag you and your loverboy are going to burn on the stake!" Andy cried and screamed as they drug them outside. "Can I at least have one last word with him?!" "I guess so..." A man drug Andy over to Barney holding him there as Barney sat tied to a cross like thing. "Hi Barn I'm so.." "No don't apologize this isn't your fault I love you so much." "I love you too Barney so much." Andy kissed Barney then they drug him away and started the fire holding Andy there to watch. "NO BARNEY NO!!" Andy cried and cried but it was to late.

50 years ago Andy Griffin and Barney Fife died in a fire. There remains were found together burnt 50 years today. The people who were a part of this mass burning of the sheriff and his deputy were put in the chair. Andy and Barney were secret lover this was their story.
