Pain.

He knew you loved it. Whether it'd be in sexual intercourse or mentally, Kousuke always found a way to make you feel pain. His ways? Sex and rules. Sex wasn't surprising, but his rules never ceased to surprise you.

After the incident with the Pawns Class, the headmaster had no choice but to move you into the Royal Class—a choice that seemed too planned out to you, like a move in a game of chess.

One minute the challenger was winning, and the next, they were experiencing a losing 'checkmate' by the original winner—the original ruler whom had laid it all out, carefully and wickedly.

That was what you felt as you began to attend the Royal Class with Kousuke.

To everybody else, meaning students ranging from the Royals to the Pawns, you looked like a manipulated doll under the hold of the Emperor, a puppet he deemed worthy of keeping by his side.

It was you and only you.

Kousuke knew you loved him. He knew you only had eyes for him.

So why did he kill anyone who dared go near you?

When a male Royalty began to talk to you, in a friendly matter, of course, Kousuke decapitated his head in front of the whole cafeteria—in front of you.

His reason?

"He broke my rules."

Don't go near what is mine.

This incident caused everyone in the Royal Class to avoid you the next day, a worser way than how they were doing it before. In front of the Emperor, you didn't react, didn't care, but behind the male's back, you'd cry, wondering why fate was so cruel to you.

Unbeknownst to you, Kousuke knew you were crying.

And he absolutely hated it.

So you know what happened the next day? When you entered the Royal's classroom?

You found the destroyed bodies of the students in the Royal Class. The males were mauled by vicious dogs, limbs bitten off of their bodies, bloody organs hanging out. The females were raped to death by the owners of the dogs, men you knew to be Kousuke's guards.

"They broke my rules."

Don't make her cry.

Many bystanders asked themselves why you still loved Kousuke despite the fact that you knew what a psychopath he was—a murderer who grew more barbaric each day just for you.

Honestly, you asked yourself the same thing every single minute of your life.

Why did you still love Kousuke?
