" richie has a crush! richie has crush! richie has a c-r-u-s-h!" ruth sang happily, spinning around in little circles.
"i do not! stop that ruth!"
"then what is this?" ruth said, yanking a diary out of her pocket.
"i-wha-how did you even fit that in there?"
"magic!" ruth shouted as she did little jazz hands.
"now, who is eddie?" she said, putting her hands in her hips matter-of-a-factly.
"erm- our neighbor?"
"you have a crush on our NEIGHBOR?"ruth shouted.
richie smacked her arm. "ruth! if you say that loud enough china will hear you!" richie said as dramatically as possible, throwing his hands in the air.
"it's what i was aiming for." ruth shrugged.
