He paused to look into your eyes."That was cliché." You sighed, sitting on your bed.Your small shack consisted of 3 rooms.A small kitchen,a bathroom, and bedroom.Everything was open,so you decided that since he was a puppet,he wouldnt be amused by anything you did,and dropped your towel. You nonchalantly put your clothes on your still damp body, breaking eye contact with the puppet."Like you understand cliché." You crossed your arms.Sasori sighed at your sudden gain of confidence."I understand you dont want to be a criminal, but the Akatsuki helps. All we want is peace...to get rid of war...the only way to do that is to get rid of people who create war."
(E/C) eyes looked at him, filled with concentration."I...I want to join." Sasori looked at you."Finally-" But you quickly interrupted him by adding,"But you have to let me repair you when we get there!" The red haired puppet sighed."Im capable of doing that myself." Arms crossed,a pout was placed on your face."Then no deal!" Sasori sighed."....fine."
You cheered. It was then, you knew you had made the biggest decision of your life. You placed your scrolls on your back, the ones that let you summon puppets(and other things),And waited until night.Sasori had said it would be best not to leave in the broad daylight, seeing as he was a wanted criminal. You agreed,Kankuro would get worried if he saw you talking to the pupped you had found, which was now alive. In the meantime you cut desert wood in the shape of spare limbs, the ones Sasori had lost.
The puppet sighed quietly. Why does she insist on helping me?It isn't going to do anything if I get in another battle. He thought. You looked over at him,and held up the detailed arm."Good enough?"He nodded."Impressive."Your cheeks tinted red, receiving a compliment from your idol wasn't exactly something everyone expected to happen.Nonetheless(idk what that word means I'm using it to seem smart af.) you gave him a half smile."I've been working on puppets since I could walk.It comes naturally to my family I guess."He nodded, looking out the window at the sunset.Wait...sunset?It was getting close to nightfall, when Sasori and you would set out for the akatsuki hideout, which you had assumed wasn't too far from your semi-remote shack in the desert.Sasori had disposed of the burnt and broken arm,and had walked over to you to receive his new one from
You.He say on the bench, and waited as you positioned the arm,and screwed it in carefully, nothing out of place."How's it look Sasori?"There was a pause."Perfect."He hadn't given out compliments like that on a daily basis, and expected you to appreciate it.Boy,did you appreciate it.
Hiding your excitement from the emotionless puppet, you looked out the window."Sasori?"He looked at you,and nodded."It's time."He slipped on his cloak, and you slipped on a simpler, black one, tying the scrolls around it.Sasori looked at you."Ready?"You smiled, assuring him that this is indeed what you wanted."As I'll ever be!" And with that note, you slid a kunai in your bandage garter, quietly opened the squeaky door, and tiptoaed to the outskirts of the village. You looked back to the illuminated village, knowing the familiar glow of the lanterns.Sasori had begun walking, you trailing behind. This might have been the biggest decision you had ever made, and have the biggest impact on your life.
