The Art of Forgetting

Whenever I see you, I feel butterflies in my stomach.

Why are you doing this to me?

You talk, yet I can't even look back.

I never knew that this could be.

My heart used to hurt

And it's because of you!

My feelings are something I want to blurt.

And loving you makes me feel blue.

I used to be alone.

At the corner, I always cry.

I tried to forget you and live on my own.

But you know what? Without you, I think I'll die.

I really love you that much,

Having sleepless nights because of that.

I always knew that we'll never match,

Because I already thought of the aftermath.

As the tears fell from my eyes,

I realized that you're not for me.

You are someone not worth it for my cries.

Now, I will forget what we used to be.
