Chapter 2

Having no other option Naveen sat inside the car. He still can't forget that dreadful day when it all started. He meet Sherry Ghelot nearly 6 yrs ago. He came to work as intern in his company in London. He really liked her work. She was very good in her department i.e Architect. He needed someone who was totally dedicated and she was the one.

He was so impressed by her that he offered her permanent position in his company which she gladly accepted. They became more of friends than college. They used to hang out together and started to spend a lot of time together both personally and professionally. Naveen always thought of her as his best friend but same was not the case with  Sherry. She started falling for him. They way he used to show concern about her well being and his tender heart took her heart away. She waited for year and half with thought that he will purpose to her but the wait was in vain. So at last she decided to take the burden of purposing. 

It was on his birthday that she decided to pop up the question. She took the pain in decorating each and everything personally. She was dressed in beautiful classic black evening gown, eagerly waiting for him.

Naveen entered the venue of his birthday celebration but found it pitch dark. He put his hand inside his pocket to fetch the phone but then realized he had left his phone in the car.

"Sherry.....yeh kya naya mazak hai....tum ho kaha...aur yeh sab kya hai??"

He waited for few seconds for the answer but didn't got one.

"Sherry where are you........??"

And suddenly the lights were on and he was mesmerized, shocked and confused to see the decoration. The hall was decorated with light pin and white balloons, along with fairy lights adoring the room everywhere. It didn't looked like the room was decorated for birthday celebration.

Naveen looked around for Sherry and suddenly romantic music started to play. He turned in the direction to see Sherry bend on her knees with red flower in her hand.  

Naveen's eyes went in shock mode realizing the truth. He wanted to stop Sherry from further saying anything as he don't want to break her heart.

"Naveen..............."

"Please Sherry aage kuch mat bolna......me janta ho tum kya kehna chati ho...lekin mere dil me tumhare liye isa kuch nahi hai...me srif tumhe bhaut aacha dost samjhta ho aur kuch nahi.....I am sorry me tumhara dil thod raha ho......please belive me yeh tumhare bhale ke liye hai.....I am so sorry....mujhe maaf kar do."

It was hard for Naveen to tell the truth but he did as he don't want to give false hope to Sherry and make her life more miserable. It's better to tell the truth than to lead a life full of lies.

Sherry Geloth who never got rejected in her whole life got rejected in love and she couldn't take it.

Sherry tried to play cool after the incident but inside she was burning. She had been born in bought in the family who spoil her to rotten. Her father is India's high profile politicians. Her cousin brother Rajveer belongs to royal family with whom she had lived her almost all her life after Rajveer's parents death. In short you can say she got best of all world.

It was after 4 months since Naveen's birthday that she got the chance she was waiting for. It was late in the night all the staff had left from there and she and Naveen was alone. Now was the time for the action, now she will do what she had planed since last few month. As soon as Naveen entered the cabin Sherry poundered over him and started kissing him insanely. Firstly Naveen tried to push her back but Sherry hold him tightly and atlast Naveen gave up due to his manly desire and kissed her back.
But as soon as the kiss was over Naveen went in guilt.
"Sherry......"
"I am sorry Naveen I just got carried away.....I promise it will never happen again.. I am sorry again."
Naveen looked in her eyes for sometime as her sorry didn't sound convencing enough, she was not looking like his friend anymore but he dimished the thought.
" Sherry...I think ab hume chalna chaiye.....bhaut raat ho gayi hai." Naveen tried to sound casual.
"Tum jao....mujhe thoda kam hai....me thode der me chali jaungi."
"Okay,phir me bhi rukta ho saath me chalege."
"Nahi tum chale jao....me chali jaungi....aur wise bhi me aaj Sam ke yeha ja rahi ho.... weekend ke liye....tumhe ulta parega......."
"Are you sure????"
"Yep...."
"Okay then good night....ek baar Sam ke yeha paunch kar message kar dena."
He gave Sherry kiss on her forehead and left from there.
For few seconds Sherry kept looking in the direction he left and thought of changing the plan but then devil took over her.
"Jacob...come he is gone."
"Sherry are you sure you want to do this."
" Hell sure.....have you done the work."
" Yes I have paused the CCTV when you were kissing him."
" Okay then let's continue from there....here it's the shirt that Naveen was wearing today and where is your girlfriend??? Ask her to change into the clothes I am wearing and get into the business."
Sherry had hired Jacob and his girlfriend Julia to inact whole rape scene wearing type of clothes Naveen and she was wearing.
They started to act the way Sherry asked them to and there were doing this in such a way that CCTV camera couldn't record their face.

Next morning police arrested Naveen on the charge of raping Sherry Gelhot. Naveen was shocked and he tried calling Sherry but she didn't pick his calls. Once in police custody she came to meet him only to reveal her plans. He was shattered. He was given a tag of rapist by his own friend. He was in jail for nearly 2 months. The only thing that made him realived that his family...his father and his sister believed in him. They fought for him in every possible manner. Lala Geloth, Sherry's father also supported Naveen. He knew Naveen was right and secondly elections were coming and he didn't want to hamper his chances due to this. So he pessurized Sherry to take the case back. It was only after that he was realized from the jail but that incident still haunt him and now it will haunt his sister. He thought matter was over.

Naveen' s trance broke when he got call from his father asking him to come home as quickly as possible.
Naveen reached his house as soon as possible and saw Naina laying on the sofa uncounsious and doctor checking her.
"Mr Aluhuwaliya your daughter is nearly 3 months pregnant....please inhe kisi bhi tarah ke stress se door rakhe....is halat me, me inko koi medicine nahi de sakta bina gyno ko consult kiye...so first thing tomorrow take her to her gyno. Please make sure inhe koi stress na ho...yeh already bhaut week hai aur inka BP kafi high hai."
Naina was pregnant,it should have been happy news for them but right now this news only bring more sadness in their life.
"Naveen Naina ko room me let kar jao....me jara Mr Geloth ko phone laga kar aata ho....dekhu unka kya kehna hai."
Naveen took Naina in his arms and took her to her bedroom while Neehal went in his study to contact Lala Geloth.
