Chapter 1- Lauren Cimorelli

*Lauren's POV*

Hey Guys, it's me- Lauren Cimorelli. I'm in a band with my 5 sisters Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy and Dani. Since Dani and I are only a year apart- we are the closest ones.

But enough lamenting... this is my story:

"LAUREN! Come downstairs. We are filming a video!"- shouted my oldest sister Christina. I am sitting in my room, scrolling through our YouTube-comments as my sister shouted. I sighed and closed my laptop. "COMING!"- I screamed back. I walked down the stairs.. I don't want to film a video.. I am tired. Tired of everything.

"There you are!"- said Lisa and smiled at me. "Yeah"- I said and looked a bit unsure, but our conversation got interrupted by Christina. "Okay, everyone in position now."- she said as she clapped in her hands. She seems a bit stressed. No wonder.. I mean she has to lead our band and is also busy making plans about her upcoming wedding. I am so happy for her, Nick is such a nice guy and maybe I am going to be an aunt soon. I can hardly wait for it.  I am wondering if it's going to be a girl or a boy and how many kids they will have. What wil be the name? Okay Christina is not even pregnant yet but event- "Lauren?"- asked Katherine. "Ah yes?"- I said a bit confused as I snapped back to reality. "Are you ready?" "Yes" "Okay great, be ready in 3..2..1.."

"Hey I'm Christina" "I'm Katherine" "I'm Lisa" "I'm Amy"- Dani poked me in the side. "Oh I'm Lauren"-I was in thoughts again. "Stoooop, we'll do it again"-shouted Christina. "Lauren you need to focus" "I'm sorry" "It's alright"- said Amy and smiled at me.

We were halfway through as I kept messing up. I missed my part again. "Ugh"- I sighed. "Is everything alright?"-asked Lisa worried. "Yeah.. I mean no..Ugh.. May I be excused for a minute?"- I asked close to tears. My sisters nodded and I ran upstairs to my room. Why do I keep messing this up? I'm so stupid. Now my sisters are annoyed. I threw myself on the bed and grabbed a pillow. I sobbed in the pillow. I don't know what happened.. I was so overwhelmed. This happens quite often lately. My anxiety grabbed me again. I don't know what my anxiety is about but it is so exhausting. Everthing seems alright and then the fear overcomes me at the most inopportune time. The fear is connected with self-doubt. I overthink everything. In this moments I even question myself why I'm alive at all. 

My thoughts were interrupted by the knock on the door.

*Lisa's POV*

I noticed that Lauren seems so stressed out lately, she even lost alot of weight. We were busy filming a video about how we arrange our harmonies. It made so much fun but somehow Lauren couldn't focus on it, She seemed to be somewhere else with her thoughts. Then she asked if she could be excused for a minute. We were all confused and it looked like she was about to cry, she ran upstairs and locked herself in her room. "Dani do you know something?"- I asked Dani. Dani and Lauren are pretty close. They are totally differnt in their behavior but best friends since Dani's birth. Lauren ist more shy, introverted and quiet and Dani the complete opposite. "No I don't know anything, I'm as confused as you all"-she said. "I have noticed that she seems really stressed out lately."- I said "You're right. I noticed that too."- said Amy. "And she looks really pale, her usual tan is gone."-said Christina "Hmm. I will go upstairs and talk to her:"- I said. "Okay. Good Luck!" said the girls.

I go upstairs... I can hear her sobbing.. I knock on the door.

"Lauren?"

*Lauren's POV*

"Lauren?" It's Lisa's voice on the other side of the door. I didn't answer. "Please open the door. I just want to make sure that you're okay." That's the point. I'm not okay. I'm not sure if I should open the door...
