"...now wash my shirts and then put them in my room." You were in front of him looking downwards and listening to his commands. You both just finished arguing about his "escapes" at midnight and like always you would look downwards, losing the battle. "Yes, darling." You went upstairs and proceeded to do what he said earlier.

You were only his fiancé and the wedding was arriving, so at this point you didn't know what to do. He was treating you so bad, you could've told him that he's not being respectful but then he would get angry... again. Taking all of that out of your mind you started to get the basket of dirty clothes and moved them to the laundry room. You checked every pocket shirt, looking for pennies or papers so they wouldn't get the shirt damaged.

When you reached for another one you saw a mark on the collar. The shirt was white, the one he uses to go to work. Your mind ran wild once you saw that lipstick mark, you just stood there holding the shirt and not believing it, leaning against the washing machine you started to think of what your supposed to do, you were too afraid of what he might do. Lifting your arm you covered the bruise on your neck.

People say that sometimes the brain brings memories when it's not the time to remember.

How right they were.

"Do you want me to roll the windows down?" You looked at him amazed. "Really?"
"Anything for you" You smiled widely at him and pressed the button to roll down your window. Instantly the wind hit your face and your hair danced to that rhythm, he smiled still looking at the road.

"Look Levi, the water is so clear!" You opened the door of his car and ran to the shore of the river, running like if someone was going to take the water. Levi just stared and scoffed at how happy you were by just seeing the river. The place was very quiet, only the howling of the trees was heard and now the splashing that you made. It was a place -according to Levi- that he likes because of it's calming atmosphere. "Babe, help me take these things out from the car!" Levi yelled and you nodded.

"Levi, it's going to rain. We have to get back to the car." Walking for one hour down the river was a good idea at first but then when the clouds went from white to gray, things were not going to end well. "We can make it."
"No we can't-" From afar the sound of the rain was coming near and hard. Both ran but it was useless to do that, so it was better to walk. Wet from head to toe and the rain still pouring down you made Levi stop and look at you.
"What's wrong?" You just wanted to kiss him so you placed your hands on his chest and slowly went upwards to his neck, finally hugging him. He got the message so he held your waist and went down.
Both ended up in the car feeling each other and sharing breaths. "You're hilarious, you didn't forgot the condom, huh?"
"I knew this was going to happen" He said kissing your neck.
"Cheeky bastard"

1 AM in the night and he hasn't arrived. Worried about him you stayed up all night.

"He never does this. Do I call him?" You whispered to yourself deciding what to do but at the end you called him. What kind of wife would you be if you didn't worry about him? Grabbing the phone you dialed his number.
