Todoroki's P.O.V

Midoriya finishes wrapping up my wounds and helps me off the counter and to his room. While walking down the hall, we see a light turn on behind us. I turn around to see Ms. Midoriya standing in the doorway

"Izuku? Why are you home so late?" She asks. I feel Midoriya tense up next to me and I hear her chuckle. "Did you forget your keys again?" She asks with a smile.

"I-Yeah, kinda," Midoriya responds, flustered. Cute.

"Hello, Todoroki. What are you doing here?" I freeze hearing the question. How do I respond? How do I say 'Oh, yeah. My dad just stabbed me in the leg, kicked me out, and now I'm dating your son'.

Before I could say anything, Midoriya speaks for me, "We are working on a project together for class. We didn't notice how late it was so I offered to let him stay here. When we got here, I-I finally noticed I didn't have my keys, so I came in through the window." I just nod along, trying to look like I know what's going on.

"Oh, well, you could have texted me that, Izuku. I would have made some space for him and had some food ready for you," Mrs. Midoriya says, even though I know she is sick.

"Yeah, sorry. We're just gonna head to my room. Goodnight mom! Feel better!" Midoriya bids goodnight and takes me to his room.

I sit on his bed while he goes through his closet. "I might have an extra futon around here somewhere," Midoriya mumbles, throwing unwanted pillows and blankets behind him. I smile fondly at his concentration. "Damn, I don't see anything. I must've gotten rid of it. Maybe Mom still has it somewhere. Or maybe she gave it to Tsuki. I can ask Auntie if Tsuki still has it. It could be in the storage unit..." Midoriya started to ramble on about possible locations of his futon. While I found it cute, I could tell he was starting to stress out.

I stand up and walk over to him. "I can sleep on the floor with some blankets. It's fine, Midoriya," I reassure. This breaks him out of his trance.

"What? No! You're injured! I'll take the floor, you take the bed. I don't want you to be uncomfortable. You don't want to stress the wound," Midoriya says as he lays out a few blankets and pillows on the ground. "And no, you cannot convince me otherwise." He states as he goes to grab his pajamas.

I look through my bag to see Fuyumi packed me a set of pajamas. I smile and watch Midoriya go to the bathroom to get changed. I decide to stay here and change. I took off my clothes and was able to put on my pajama pants before Midoriya walked in.

"Just letting you know, I have glow-in-the-dark star stickers on my-" Midoriya starts but is cut off, seeing me shirtless in his room. I watch him blush profusely and cover his face. "I-I'M S-SO SORRY! I SHOULD'VE KNOCKED!" He shouts into his hands. I put on my shirt and laugh as I walk over to him. I grab his hands and pull them away from his face. I kiss his lips with a smile.

"It's fine. We are dating now, so I don't mind you staring," I say with a wink. This causes him to blush more and gently push me away as he makes his way to the blankets on the floor. I get into the bed and he turns off the light.

"Goodnight Todoroki-kun,"

"Goodnight Midoriya,"

Time Skip

I wake up in the middle of the night from a nightmare about my dad. I sit up and rub my face while looking at the clock on the nightstand. 2:45. Shit, I don't know if I can go back to sleep. I sigh as I lay back down, looking at the glow-in-the-dark star stickers on the ceiling.

Before I can go back to sleep, I hear shuffling from the floor. I look over the bed to see Midoriya shivering and moving around on the floor. I watch him open his eyes and sigh in frustration.
