That Was Fun

He looked at them and gets very visably mad and I swear I saw his eyes get a few shades darker. " What is this? Who wrote these to you?" I look at the ground not wanting to see him get any more mad. "Daniel and his little crew, but I'm fine I swear, just pleasedon't do anythin." I just barely look up and see him take a deep breath and look at me. " I won't do anything...yet." I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in to Don't forget to text me when you get home safely!" He smiled at me and it make me feel warm inside. Wow I've only talked to him for a few hours and I'm already melting at his feet. I smile back, " I will." He nods and let's my wrist go so I head to my Jeep and pull out of the school.

I get home and see that my dad's car is back. I am excited to the max! My uncle never hits me when he is here, and he acts like the uncleI wish he was always. I walk inside and see my dad sitting on a stool drinking coffee in the kitchen. " DAD!" My Dad turns around and smiles, "Pumkin how are you?!" My Dad looks great and not a day over thirty even though he is closer to fifty. " I am okay, How was your trip?" He went to A few counties over for business. "It was great honey they closed the deal!" I smiled and gave him a quick hug before went to my room. I pulled my phone out of my book bag so I could text Alexander that I was home.

D- I got home safely! -Daisy
A- Good now I can stop worrying!
D- You worried about me?
A- I wouldn't say that if I hadn't, so when would you like to go on our date.
D- anytime this weekend would be nice!
A- okay Saturday would be a good day, I'll pick you up so just send me your address.
D- 4792 pine drive, what should I wear?
A- whatever you want princess, just be able to walk in a large area.
A -Also I saw your art in class. Where have you seen that wolf before if you have seen it at all?
D- I know it sounds weird but I have been having the same dream about it. I feel like I know it although I've never seen it in real life, but I want to.
A- So say you could see this wolf would you be freaked out?
D- I don't think so, the only way I would is if it was threatening me and it was baring it's teeth in my direction.
A- Well that's good to know! I have some work I have to get done, but I will meet you at your locker tomorrow in the morning.
D- Okay! See you in the morning!

Saturday is in the day after tomorrow and I am not ready! I text Trinity about the situation.
(T-Trinity D-Daisy)
D- I'm going on a date with Alexander Saturday and I need to dress to walk a lot!
T- YES! ILL COME OVER IN THE MORNING AND HELP YOU GET READY!
D- Yes! This is going to be great! Also he will be joining us at my locker in the morning if that's alright.
T- oh darn I'm actually staying home tomorrow to help my grandma organize her house, but have fun!
D- aww darn okay, and I'll try!
T- Bye crazy lady
D- bye ya nut case
I get off my phone and start sketching a little bit in my book. I finish in about an hour and it is this beautiful wolf with a blue tint to it and it has a crescent moon on its left hip, with hazel eyes and sharp white tips to the ears. I finish putting up my supplies and decide to fall asleep since all my work was finished.

The next days flies by Alexander meets me at my locker and we walk to class together. I go home right after school finish my math work and then fall asleep. I wake up on Saturday wigging our it is currently four o clock two hours before my date Trinity is helping me pick out an outfit and I realized that I am overthink everything in my existence! I've tried on over fifty outfits and nothing looks right. At around five we both decide that my dark green shirt, camp jacket, black leggings and green vans were the best option. I take a shower get dressed in my clothes and then Trinity does my hair and light makeup. Right when we finish I hear the doorbell ring. My heart thumps into my ears I grab my wallet that has $300 in it just in case and my phone.

I walk downstairs and see my dad with Alexander in the living room giving him a talk. " I swear if she comes home crying because you treated her in well I will take my food and ram it right up your sorry as-." I walk in and his mood completely changes to friendly while Alexander is holding a face of fear. I give my dad a hug and follow Alexander outside to his car he opens my door for me and then swings around and get in the drivers seat. He puts the car in motion and then it gets very...very...very... quiet. Alexander speaks up first, " So your dad... he is very. How do I say this. Very scary. Yeah. Scary." I look at him and laugh, " Only this time after a while he won't care anymore." Alexander looks at me and chuckles, " Well good thing because he is going to be seeing a lot of me." I smile at the thought of me and him going on a lot of dates and hanging out together.

We end up at this diner called The breakfast plate and it was amazing! The whole time we talked as if we have known a eachother forever. He told me to call him Alex not Alexander because he found it very formal. I laughed he laughed it was a great time. After words we walked around town for a while and then finally drove back to my house. He opened my door and walked me up to my front door. " Daisy tonight was amazing." I blushed and nodded, " it was a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be awkward." He smiled at that, " Yeah me too, but I'm glad that you had fun." He stared at my eyes for a moment then he cupped my cheek as well as started leaning in and I don't know why but I leaned in too. And right when we were moment from kissing my Uncle opens the front door. " Daisy get in the house we have to talk." I stood a little frozen partially from almost kissing Alex but mostly because that's what he would say before he hit me. " Oh well I will call you later okay?" Alex looked in my eyes smiling his big goofy grin. " oh-a okay." I struggled to speak. And with those few words Alex left and I was inside with the bane of my existence.
