Chapter 1

Rin's POV

"How troublesome. If it's so dangerous as they say, why even send us there? They can send the high class exorcists and get over with it." 

[I sulked. This morning we've received one of Mephisto's overly decorated messages. He also left a cupcake. In the mailbox! This guy is beyond weird. He wanted to notify that Yukio and I would be leaving at dark with Shura and other three higher class exorcists to the sky shrine at Yokohama.

He was saying there were tones of demons haunting the place. Nonsense! I did want to hurry up and become an official exorcist, but slaughtering a group of demons crowded up at one place would not help one bit, and I had enough experience!] 

"Hey, what do you think, Yukio? Should we tell him to shove it? I wanted to go to town with Shima and Shiemi anyways." 

Yukio's POV

"We have to, there's no avoiding it. All we can do is finish there and return... though it is quite annoying there aren't more reinforcement with us." 

[I sighed. I was regulated to missions in a bad timing, but this one was a harsh case for top class exorcists, and of course I had that lingering bad feeling in me.

Not that it matters, since a lot of things mess up when you're on a demon hunt with Rin...

Not his fault, though.] 

"I just wish you wouldn't get these missions, honestly. Demons tend to gang up on you, sometimes us, but at least I'm fully trained. Anyway, I think we'll be fine. It's still lesser demons, so we can deal with them." 

[I said, shrugging. We have to go in about a few minutes.] 

"Let's get going."  

Rin's POV

 [I scowled at him. Again that sassy attitude.] 

"Oh yeah, again we're talking about these matters, you asshole?! I don't need to be 'fully trained', I'm good! They can gang me up all they want, I'll crush them." 

[I said. He always thinks I wouldn't be able to handle things the way he would, I thought while buttoning up my shirt and sliding my jacket on. I positioned my sword in its bag and lifted it, kicking the door open.] 

"Come on now, let's go, Baka Yukio! Or I can just head on without you, since I'll definitely be doing just fine!"   

Yukio's POV

 [I pushed my glasses up and let out a small sigh. He will never understand how he worries me, and he's too much of an idiot to realize that while he is strong, he has a long way to go, like all of the rest do.

He's not weak, but he barely thinks before acting, and then I need to worry he'll die on me.] 

"If you go alone the demons will overflow on you and you'll die." 

[I pushed him forward through the door, and threw him a smile.] 

"Maybe if you'll take care of more demons than me today, I'll admit you could go without me.

[Not that I'll let him go without me, though. We both slipped through the door, knowing we need to hurry up.]   

Rin's POV

 "Ha! You'll see, idiot. It's a bet! If I do, you have to be my slave for one day." 

[I chuckled, smirking back at him. There's no way he can win, I'm hella better at this.

After a few minutes we were at the entrance of the academy, our meeting place with Shura and the others. She again choke-hugged me with those breasts she isn't willing to hide, tsk.

On our way there, I snuck a few looks at Yukio. He seemed to be worried, more worried than he should be. The issue was just a group of lesser demons, jeez.] 

"Calm down, you worry wart. After I win, I promise to cut you some slack. And anyways, you still didn't tell me what are your demands in case you win, not that you would though."
