My Famous Baby Daddy

Chapter 2

Today Isabella got a phone call at 6 am stating that the FBI was going to inspect her house.

Her exact reply was. "Fuck off Janett I'm sleeping."

So after she hung up she continued to go on with her daily routine. Because Jannet couldn't fucking call any other time of day other than the morning.

She signed Noah in for daycare and got dressed in her black real estate uniform.

During work, her boyfriend Mason, calls her. "Hey, babe wanna have dinner tonight?"

"Yeah how about my place? I have pasta." She smiles.

"Okay, bye love you."

"Love you too." Although she says the words back she wonders if she truly loved him.

Mason and she have been dating for a year now and he was the first person to not back out of dating when they learned about Noah.

After all, there were a few guys who were willing to be a stepdad this early.

The thing about Mason was he slowly seemed to lose interest in her as they continued to date. For example, if Isabella cracked a joke with him he'd just nod. He wouldn't even try to pretend to listen to her when they talked.

He would just nod and say "okay," all the time. He'd occasionally say I love you but only when he was definitely lying or was going to cancel plans.

She knew the last part subconsciously but she wanted to believe Mason truly loved her.

Whenever they went on walks together with Noah he would always be on phone for 'work' while Isabella played with her son.

Sometimes she suspects him cheating but she never found any real evidence of him leaving unfamiliar things in his house.

She hated to admit it but once she tried to snoop through his phone but all she saw was his buddies texting about boys night out which he always goes to last minute to cancel their dates.

She sighs and continues to sell houses to middle-class people who are on a budget. Her job was practically house hunters except with the tv show. She still had the snooty, picky couples as her clients.

The best part of Isabella's day was picking up Noah from daycare and going home.

She loved when Noah ran up to her and she held him in her arms. And he would say, "Mummy!" And he would suck on his tiny thumb.

But when Bella entered the daycare to sign him out the lady said someone already signed him out.

"What who? I never gave permission besides Mason who is at work right now!" She said in an annoyed tone. But deep down Isabella was terrified that she was going to lose Noah.

"Someone named Justin." The lady shrugged.
