Right Here, Right Now {Harry Potter Universe}

Arena- Tournament Stage 1

The crowds are cheering, people are placing bets.

Harry is pacing around nervously and I stopped him, "Hey, it's gonna be okay."

His eyes widened, "You're talking to me again?" I chuckled, "I promise you that I won't let anything happen to you, Harry."

I heard Hermione whisper, "Pssst! Harry and Jade, is that you?"

She continued when I confirmed it, "How are you feeling? The key is to concentrate. After that, you just have to..."

Hermione walks in a hugs us. A bright camera flashes, Rita Skeeter the journalist approaches. She looked at Hermione and Harry before saying, "Young love! Ohh how... stirring. If everything goes unfortunately today, you might make the front page."

I looked at Viktor as he told Rita, "This tent is for champions and friends." Rita quickly began to leave while saying, "We've got what we wanted." Rita leaves and Dumbledore enters.

He spoke to all of us, "Gather 'round, please. Now you've waited, you've wondered and at last the moment has arrived."

The champions rather around him in a circle as I feel my hand begin to shake until Harry reaches and grabs my hand, squeezing it gently. I sent him a smile as Dumbledore looked at Hermione, "What are you doing here, Miss Granger?"

She responded with, "Sorry, I'll just go." I quickly stopped her before she exited completely and hugged her, "Make sure Fred's there, please. I need him today, 'Mione."

Her embrace became more tightly as tears overflowed my highlights and she pulled away, "You don't need to be solid for everybody constantly, simply be Jade. We require you." I laughed gently and smiled, "I need Ron there, too." She nodded, "He's there, and no matter how much he doesn't want to admit it, it's not just for you, but also for Harry."

After she left, I tuned in to what Barty was doing as I walked over to him. Barty was holding up a bag. I watched as Fleur took out a little, green dragon, "The welsh green." Barty introduced us, "Mr. Krum..."

"The chinese fireball. Oooooh." Cedric picks one. "The Swedish short-snout."

I took a gander at Harry as he mumbled, "The horntail..."

"What's that, boy?"

Harry puts his hand in the bag and pulls out the dragon. Barty spoke once more, "The Hungarian horntail. Your objective is simple, collect the egg." I raised my hand and he turned his attention to me, "Sorry, Ms. Lupin."

I drew out one and it said Viper-tooth.

He breath caught in my throat, but that didn't stop him from continuing, "This you must do, for each egg contains a clue without which you cannot hope to proceed to the next task. Any questions?"

I raised my hand, "What if we don't wish to die?"

Dumbledore continued on, however, "Very well. Good luck, champions. Mr. Diggory, the sound of the cannon..." The cannon fires immediately.

Harry is sitting in the tent alone, while I am sitting by myself outside the tent, in the grass. I see Ron walk up to and sit down next to me, a smile spreading across my face. He wrapped an arm around me and I nuzzled into his, tears spreading down my features silently and he sighed, "It's gonna be okay, Jade."

I shook my head, "I'm battling a Viper-tooth, Ron." He pulled back gently and I watched as his eyes widened. I nodded, "If I get bit, not only will I lose the competition, the poison will kill me, Ron." He shook his head, handing me a necklace with a dragon tooth on it and a red ruby embedded in it, "Fred told me to give you this and he said that it's from a Viper-tooth." I shook my head, "How'd he--" Ron shrugged, "Hermione was outside your tent, I didn't know the Viper-tooth part was important until now, but use the tooth. Use his own poison against him."

I smiled, "Ronald Weasley, you are my best friend for a reason. I love you!" I kissed his cheek gently before getting off the ground and helping Ron up with a giggle. Ron really is a good friend.

That's when I heard Dumbledore's voice over the loud speaker, "Three of our champions have now faced their dragons and so each one of them will proceed to the next task."

It was time for Harry and I. I grabbed his hand as we walked in to the arena. The crowd is cheering our names.

Harry's forced to retreat behind a rock as the dragon flames him. Harry stumbles as falls around the arena.

"Your wand!"

Harry summons a broom. He jumps on and flies off, quickly picking me up as I hopped on the back, the dragons give chase.

Harry is flying as high speed around the Hogwarts buildings, me holding on tight while laughing with joy.

The dragons are clambering across the roof, strewing tiles as they go.

Once mine reaches me, I stab it in the heart with the tooth, letting out a sigh as it fell off the roof before rushing back to Harry.

He jerks his broom loose and lets go of the roof just in time before the dragon swipes at him.

"Harry!"

I screamed, fear filling my veins as I could feel the dragon's breath on my face before Harry reaches out his hand for me and said, "Jade, come on!" I nodded, letting him pull me on to the broom. He flies on to an area with a bridge, he flies through a gap in the bridge but the dragon crashes into it and falls into the water. This mishap causes me to laugh.

We see Harry flying towards us and the crowd erupts.
