Phone call

Sarah's P.O.V

As I sat down at the table, my mum started to go on about the fact that I'm old enough to move out and live on my own, I'm only 20 by the way and I haven't even got a job yet. As she was about to finish her rant she shouted at me, "Sarah are you even listening to me!"

"Yea, yea sorry" I said as I was playing with the button on the sleeve on my top. "Sarah, what are you thinking about?" My mum asked. As I was about to answer her my phone began to ring, it was George. I decided to answer him cause it could be inportant, "Hey, George." I say as my mum looks at me confused and mouthed to herself "who?"

"Hey, Sarah I was just wondering if you wanted to go out tonight?" he says clearly nervous. "Are you asking me out on a date, George?" I ask blushing.

My mum just stares at me while I'm on the phone. "Y-yea, do you err want to go on a date with me?" He asked me this with a shaky voice. "Well ok I will go on a date with you, I'll have to tell my mum that I'm going out though." I said looking at her wile she stared at me in shock and confusion.

I could hear Alex and Will laughing in the background, I also hear loud laughter in the apartment next to mine. I wonder if they live in that apartment. I decided to go into the hallway of the apartment building I live in and walk up to the door on my left. My mum still just looking confused looked outside of our door.

I hesitated slightly but decided to knock on the door. George starts talking again, "Oh that's great, just one minute though someone's just at my door I'll be right back." I try really hard to hold back my laughter "ok I'll call you back in a bit then" I say just as I hang up.

A few seconds later the door opened, "oh.....hey Sarah I didn't expect to see you there." I started laughing a little bit. "Well are you going to invite me in or not then." Will and Alex start laughing even more that they are nearly on the floor.

"Shut up!" George said laughing a little. He invited me in and as I walked past him I had a quick whiff off the Lynx he was wearing, he definitely never had it on when I met him and took him to the Aldi. But then now that I think about it we were outside in the cold.

When I got to where Alex and Will are I just gave the one of my classic stares. They soon shut up, George came over to us and he looked really shocked at the fact that I was able to shut them up.

"Fucking hell it normally takes me hours to shut them up" he said as he looked at me with his beautiful blue eyes, as I was about to start talking to the lads my mum rang. I could tell 'cause her ring tone was the Doctor Who intro.

I decide to answer. "Hey mum" I say slightly nervous, "what the fuck you just walked into a strangers apartment! Who is he?" She shouts down the phone. "He's a friend mum it's ok I know him" I say trying not to laugh cause I can see Will and Alex starting up agin and George is laughing a little bit already.
